I have a narrative-based story on the EQG version of King Sombra

And I haven't taken the time to upload it. Mostly because it's in narrative form, and I wasn't sure if anyone would like that. Still, you should all know what the story is: it's basically the equivalent of Fiendship is Magic, and the story of Dr. Doom. This was several years ago, and I honestly thought that King Sombra would work as the series equivalent of Dr. Doom: especially when he learns to

    The Many Deaths of Ursula

Interesting how her demise evolved over time. Now if only I could pick a worthy death for Tirek in my Daughter of Discord: Of Love and Darkness story. I know one of these might be perfect if handled correctly, I just need to choose one.

Anyone want to brainstorm Daughter of DIscord: Of Love and Darkness?

As I said, i've been stuck on this most recent chapter for ages, and i've been preoccupied with other projects. However, my interest in working on this most recent chapter has begun to spike. Yet I remain stuck on ideas, and what to do for this next chapter. That's where you folks come in. I just need some folks to help me come up with some ideas for the chapter so I can get back to writing.

Just so you know, i'm still alive

Indeed, i'm still around, but i've been having other priorities to focus on. However, I am feeling the urge to return to work here. But there is a small problem. I want to start the next chapter of "Daughter of Discord: Of Love and Darkness", but I don't know where to take the story. There are certain details I don't want to change, but i'm trying to consider how Tirek's presence would change

(For those of you concerned for my wellbeing due to my.....unnecessarily long absence, I assure you all that i AM okay, and I appreciate https://www.fimfiction.net/user/371437/N3xmaz1ng checking up on me.....and my work. Hopefully, this will lay your concerns to rest, and assure you that i'm still around, and kicking: just extraordinarily busy with other projects.)

The main protagonist of the Harmoniaverse, and its story, "The Light of Harmonys Hope".

And like with Tirek in the previous post, before anyone even complains with comments like "Oh, god! Why did you make Twilight into a stallion?! She's supposed to be female all the time! You're a sexist! SEXIIIIIIIIST!!!", which like with the previous I know you guys won't because you're awesome adults, at least give him a chance. After all, nobody complains when people make comics and even fanfics where Twilight's male counterpart, Dusk Shine, simply takes her place in the show. He ultimately becomes a shonen protag in a harem series.XD But in all seriousness, I actually like the idea behind Dusk Shine. Now, don't get me wrong, I like Twilight as well as any other fan. But Dusk Shine, much like Shining Armor, has potential for being the protagonist of the series if depicted correctly. And thankfully, I made him more than just a male Twilight Sparkle in the Harmoniaverse. Granted, he experiences all that Twilight goes through in this universe, but let's just say he's a big different in terms of personality than Twilight. And Season 9 would be the culmination of his character development.

Maybe one day, i'll actually make a sequel series depicting his journey through the series - but since i'm making Season 9 into a trilogy story of its own, I think that should be a one-shot series kind of thing........which is hard to explain, honestly.^^;

But anyway, onto what makes Prince Dusk Shine of the Harmoniaverse so special, and which characters inspired this depiction of him, starting with:

Dick Grayson: Though I guess mostly Young Justice Dick Grayson. Like Dusk, he greatly admired his teacher, and the person who took him in, and both proved to be natural prodigies in terms of combat. But both ultimately end up stepping out of the shadows of their mentors to become their own person - Dusk just doesn't get the misfortune of breaking off from his teacher because of disillusionment. However, even though both step away from their mentors either positively or negatively, they both ultimately remain true to who they are: someone who cares for others, and will fight tooth and nail to defend them. So ultimately, what these two have in common is how they transcend their mentors, and become their own hero/leader. Also, both are hot as hell in suits, among other things.XD

Spider-man: Now here's where things get interesting, since there are more than one superheroes on this list. What Dusk has in common with Peter Parker, however, is what he also has in common with the hero Deku: mega nerds who have extreme intellects, and are analytical to a T. Unfortunately, Dusk also shares peter's habit of overthinking things, and losing his cool when things don't go the way he planned them. And he will at times heavily blame himself for what happens to others. But with time, and help from friends, depending on what series regarding Peter, both rise above being socially awkward nerds, and gain confidence in themselves great enough to make them amazing, and spectacular heroes. And their willingness to give their lives to defend others makes them sensational.:D

Twilight Sparkle: Not much really to go on, because Dusk Shine and Twilight Sparkle are one and the same. And at his core, Dusk has much of Twilight in him, who also shares traits with the other heroes on this list. So it only made sense to put her on here, just like I had the Tirek/Tirac Trio in Lord Tirek's web list.:)

Izuku Midoriya/Deku: Now here's where the real nerdy aspect of Dusk Shine comes in. And thus far, Deku has proven to be one of the most intelligent, analytical, and strategically sound heroes made in the 2010s. And let's just say that aside from those three aspects, there is another thing Dusk Shine and Izuku have in common: that both of them are as humble as Peter Parker, and Dick Grayson, and had humble beginnings. However, unlike Izuku who had to suffer fourteen to fifteen years of physical, mental and emotional abuse from others for being 'human', as in powerless, Dusk and he had an instance of unexplained circumstance which could have cost them their lives before their idols, and personal heroes saved them. Though the timing was different, both Celestia and All-Might took in their respective pupils when they saw the potential in them to inherit their mantles. Izuku when he risked his life to save the person who hurt him most from the villain who almost killed HIM, and Dusk when he revitalized the elements of Harmony with his friends, which would lead to his ascension to alicornhood, and eventual rulership of Equestria. Both are the kindest, most selfless individuals who will helps others in danger, even if it costs them greatly. With no regards to their own personal safety, both will save the day with a smile on their face, and will prove what it is to be a hero.:)

Luke Skywalker: Speaking of legacies, this is kind of a two-parter. Because Dusk and Luke both become heroes of their own, as part of a race of beings dedicated to maintaining the balance of the world. And both become apprentices to those who wield the power of the universal aspects that give life to the universe. It goes by many names, with the biggest being The Force. But my name for it is The Source, since it's the same thing, but augmented with the aspect of the same name found in DC comics. Dusk and Luke learn of the Force/Source through those who wield it for the sake of good. For Luke it is The Force, for Dusk it is The Source. And like Luke, he is placed in a conflict between the two opposing halves of the Source, The Ashlam/Light Side, and The Vashtar/Dark Side, that he will struggle to find which force he belongs to. And because of his immense power, and potential for wielding The Source, Lord Tirek will desire making him an apprentice, and tempt him to become his servant, and succumb to the Vashtar AKA The Darkness. But the real important aspect here is that Luke is ONE HALF of inspiration for Dusk's character in the series. Luke seems to take his father, Anakin's impatience and recklessness, but he takes alot more after his mother, Padme', for her determination, and fearlessness. But even moreso, her kindness, and love for her family, and in turn his own. That's what our alicorn prince receives from the son. Now as for the father........

Anakin Skywalker: After the Cartoon Network CGI series came about, you can all be damn well sure that Anakin Skywalker's popularity rose in more ways than it ever did when he was introduced in the movies. He is brave, bold, fearless, and willing to put his life on the line to do whatever's right. And he stands out from average Jedi not only because of his immense strength in The Force, but because he is a symbol of hope, and heroism for the Republic. Dusk takes after this, given the many victories he and his friends gain throughout the series. By now, as Prince, his own reputation has grown immensely. But have no worries when I say he will not be turned to the Dark Side like Anakin. But he WILL share in his own struggle to maintain balance in himself between light and darkness as evil forces try, and corrupt him. He might also share a bit of his temper when it comes to certain things, but in the end he is the fearsome warrior who holds a strong connection to The Source, as potentially "The Chosen One", who will bring balance back to the Harmoniaverse. Just as Anakin himself did.........though in a different way.

Frodo Baggins: I know my choice of pic presentation is......odd. But it's honestly based one of the most epic moments of "The Return of the King" the book: when Frodo unwittingly draws upon the One Ring's power, and threatens Gollum with powerful presence, and authority. But that's not what we're discussing. What we ARE discussing is the fact that Dusk and Frodo have much of their own in common: both being individuals who live a peaceful, and sheltered life, until the day they are met with the forces of evil many times throughout their journey. Innocent souls who like to see the good in others, are ultimately thrust into a dangerous game with a force of ultimate evil. And in THIS story, like Frodo, Dusk eventually learns of The Heart of Darkness, the history of Tirek and Apophis, and of the dangers their world face in light of the new Dark Lord aka Lord Tirek's rise to power. Yet despite everything they already go through, and the escalation of the threats thrown their way, both are willing to undergo the task of destroying the artifact of evil to save their home, and end their respective Dark lord's reign once and for all. Along the way, however, like Frodo, Dusk Shine will end up changed in more ways than one. And in the end, his innocence will be lost forever. But it is the price he soon comes to understand, and will be willing to pay to protect his friends, and the world. Even if he must suffer the threat of Tirek's corruption through his Dark Krystal, The Heart of Darkness - or the fragment Dusk is given, that the centaur needs to rejoin the shattered Krystal. The true similarity is something I quote also from Jekyll and Hyde that reflects his struggle against Tirek and his attempts to turn him to Darkness: "But how do I deal with a foe I can't see, who whenever he wants takes possession of me? In a battle of wills that is raging inside, will I end up as me........or as Hyde?"

Spyro the Dragon: The last hero on this list, and ironically, the second one voiced by Elijah Wood, who i'm considering making Dusk Shine's fan voice cast. But to describe it best, i'm using the purple dragon from "The Legend of Spyro" trilogy, in case it wasn't obvious. And he is the epitome of upholding a powerful legacy given to his race, and setting off from his old home to fulfil his destiny to defend his home from the forces of evil. And Dusk has alot in common with Spyro, same as the other heroes. Aside from being purple creatures, they are also the symbol of unity, harmony, and hope. The beacon who opposes the shadow of a Dark Master, but who also struggles with trying to uphold this legacy, and not succumbing to evil. To summarize, he's basically the Skywalkers, and Frodo Baggins rolled into one. That is also what Dusk Shine himself is, as he is the one who is destined to bring balance to his world. An arduous task for any hero, but one these purple heroes are more than willing to undertake.

And that pretty much sums it all up. I have no other words, and can explain no further. Though i'm sure some of you folks might have ideas. Either way, I hope you all enjoy this, and have a good day AND/OR night.:)
