Another slice of life blog story in the style of Fallout dude 50
He recently put out a two part story too, check it out.
Even though all of the weather was artificial, from the ground it certainly didn't seem that way. Starlight couldn't help but enjoy the cool breeze blowing through Truce as she and Lucca walked through town square. They hadn't decided on what they were doing, and had opted to take a walk as Lucca reminisced about memories of the world she left behind.
So James rebuilt the town you grew up in?
James and myself. We modified a transporter and integrated it with a replicator and holosuite so we could create a town identical to Truce. That was the first evacuation and relocation we performed, we needed somewhere for everyone that didn't let them know they were out in space, so we made this place, and eventually moved here ourselves.
Oh, hey. Speaking of James, there he is. *Waves happily*
Hey girls. *Hugs Starlight and kisses Lucca* Having fun?
Nah, just walking around. It's nice to just relax once and a while.
You're telling me, even though I've put limits on my hours I'm swamped almost every day.
I thought you were helping Twilight with L's magic right now.
We finished, she's just visiting Pinkie before we head to Midnight.
*Smirking* Going on a date this time huh?
*Leaning in conspiratorially* Don't tell my wife.
*Laughs*
*Walking up behind James* Hi Lucca, Starlight. What's going on?
Just hearing about your date.
Not you too. James just suggested that we go to Midnight for a change.
He doesn't take me dancing.
You don't like dancing, I take you drinking.
*Grinning wickedly* I think we should go with them. I'm not sure we can trust James.
*Sighs*
That sounds like fun. Well James, it looks like you've got three dates tonight.
*chuckling* I think that's a record for me.
Not really.
