Read this ENTIRE article and focus on what this ex-judge's arguments are for Flynn being put in jail for perjury.
The ex-judge ADMITS the charges of lying to the FBI were false. He ADMITS Flynn was pushed into a confession.
But, because Flynn made that false confession, it counts as perjury!
THAT IS BEYOND THE PALE OF SHEER TYRANNICAL MADNESS!!
How many poor people who were threatened by corrupt law enforcement into a confession have had their convictions thrown out over the years, eh? Does it sound like 'justice' to you that we should now put those people BACK into prison for lying about their confessions in court?

I'm sure we'd be living in a paradise if it didn't have to keep fighting the monster's other, wrong head. There is a clear line, Alondro; however, I encourage you to shake off any illusions (at this point they may be considered delusions) that the Republicans are not evil, themselves.
They have done nothing but dither, if that, at the increasingly hostile, arrogant, and destructive Left, constantly shying away from actual solutions for fear of being seen as The Bad Guys, and even when having shown at least a half-assed, semi-formed backbone, have only whined about being the only ones playing by "The Rules" and not wanting to get mud on their exquisitely-tailored suits, and this is when they do not outright capitulate.
If viewed with enough naiveté, one could say that they don't understand that merely showing that the other players at the table are cheating doesn't do anything if one isn't either willing to get down in the mud, play just as dirty, and cheat themselves, or start playing Chinese Checkers while everyone else is playing Monopoly, means little to nothing. The other players just snigger at how foolish and wet-behind-the-ears you are and will continually play with loaded dice and pass money to each other, not even bothering to hide it under the table while fleecing you.
If viewed cynically enough (and I have seen nothing to tell me that this is the incorrect point-of-view), then they are just as bad as the Leftists. Weak evil or strong evil, they are both evil, and one does not tolerate evil, especially when evil preys on the goodwill and beneficence of the people they claim to represent, playing them for fools while secretly benefiting from their supposed "enemies" by playing the friend and brother.
In fact, one could argue that such evil, weak, flabby, and disgustingly grub-like as it may be, is the worse evil, for better the sword you can see and know for what it is than the dagger in your back from someone you thought an ally.
At best, they are a parasite; at worst, a bunch of traitors.
Either one must be eradicated, for one cannot focus on the true enemy while a leech sucks at an artery, or a "friend" plots and schemes behind you.
May William F. Buckley and his ilk burn for what they did, and let us abandon the supposed "moral high ground", for it is both a deceit given to us by our enemies and an undefendable position at best.

I do object to laying "the secession thing" on the modern Democratic party, since while the name may be the same, the ideology is very different (the same being true for the Republicans).
