The ninth story has begun · 10:00pm Jun 1st, 2020
I have now just published and submitted the start of my next story, LEGO Equestria Girls 9. With this being the second of three stories I intend to complete this year, today is really the ideal time to get this one started so that I can work on it at my usual rate of one chapter every two weeks while still having plenty of time in the later part of the year for the holiday short stories (which will not be among the numbered sequence of main stories, but rather be considered a collection of short stories that take place between the ninth and tenth stories).
I did say I would take this opportunity of a brief break from writing to allow myself to write this next story at a more relaxed pace. Unfortunately, I completely squandered half of my usual four-week head start again, and this time I have no legitimate excuses for it aside from just pure laziness. Thankfully, the first chapter turned out a bit shorter than the first chapter of the previous story, so I was able to get it done with a comfortable amount of time to spare. However, while I would normally also have the second chapter partially or even completely done by this point, I have currently not yet started on it, though it's likely I'll get around to it later tonight. In other words, my best hope now of avoiding the stress I suffered while working on the previous story is that many of the chapters for this story turn out to be relatively shorter and thus take less time to complete, but since I can never be sure about that until the chapters are actually written, it's really only speculation at this point whether or not that'll be the case. All I can say for sure is that there will be a total of seven chapters in this story (meaning that if I manage to stick to my self-imposed schedule, this story will be marked complete at the very end of August).
As for my plans regarding the holiday short stories later this year, I intend to write a total of six short stories, some based on some of the Equestria Girls Holidays Unwrapped specials, while others will be completely original content. And since I intend to have all of them complete by within a week before Christmas, my usual rate of progress means I'll have to publish the first of these short stories in early October. Therefore, I will again have only a short about of time to relax after completing this story before moving on to the next one. After that, I'll be sure to post my next blog to explain my plans for the remainder of my series in the years to follow.
And I think that covers everything important for now. I hope everyone will enjoy reading LEGO Equestria Girls 9.
Will you ever do a Lego Anon-A-Miss story?

Good question, but Chronicler already past the point where Anon-A-Miss should be and I don't think it's gonna work now.
