Star Trek: Phoenix — Crew List (Season 2)

Hi everyone, this blog's purpose will be for the character cast for Season 2 of Star Trek: Phoenix. Since a lot of people were asking about having a character sheet public, I eventually was able to make one. So, this is organized as Rank - Name - Position, Uniform Color - Gender, Species. Note, some modifications may

Finally, an update for Spirit Detective! (Hold your applause)

So, originally I was going to push out the newest chapter in, about, an hour. It is currently 6am, and I woke up at 4am and have been writing ever since. I published the weird thing that came into my mind last night in the ideation story, which has been my only break.

    Redline

Me: "Plot idea! What if Sunset shares a sugar-rush fever dream with Pinkie, Rainbow, and Sci-Twi because her geode activates while they're asleep at a slumber party?"

Also me: "... wouldn't that dream essentially be Redline?"

Also also me: "Yes, so get your ass to work!"

No Good, Rotten, Very Bad Month. · 3:59pm May 28th, 2020

This will be very short, cause shit happened.

No idea when the next chapter will come. School has been a lot more difficult due to everything.

And I'm still absolutely livid that I contained my anger over something that happened three weeks ago, that led to someone else getting arrested and not me. Though I wish I let loose and did. Ever since that day, I have been just so angry and you can't write an emotional scene while wanting to beat someone to near-death, just so they can heal and you can do it again, and again, and again.

Additionally, I ended up coming down with food poisoning (apparently), and my stomach emptied itself while I was in the shower... from both ends... and now the shower drain is clogged... yippee...

I also have an exam in a few hours that I was going to study for, that now I can't. It is upper division college stats and I don't have a calculator.

So, that's all fun.

Anyway, as it comes to the story itself... I have the next two or so chapters fully sketched and partly written, and most of the current chapter is essentially finished. The problem? I'm stuck over-thinking one specific scene. That is in the middle of the current chapter. Until I write it, nothing gets published...

Additionally, i need to get my ass working on the collab, my good buddy has already given me three rough chapters to work with. And, ive either been too depressed, stressed, tired, livid, or Apexed to do anything with anything fimfic related. I've only just started reading again, and even then... only a hooffull of stories, and only when I'm in the ugh mood.

Turns out, this wasn't as short as I thought it would be. But, yeah... I'm awful. In every sense of the word. I could really use a cold shower.

On a plus side, here is something of a tease for something I started writing. About 400 words. Whether or not it actually gets published? No idea. The story itself is heavily influenced by Fargo. And this portion was very similar to a given scene- that diverges into something completely different. Only 400 words or so, and unedited. But, it is something to enjoy at least!

Sunset stared at the man whose shaggy blue hair dripped with sweat, and more importantly, a detective who tightly gripped his pistol aimed at her head. "I like him," she whispered the the pony-tailed girl that stood beside her. "I like you," she parroted. She rose a soft amber hand and instinctively caressed the reddish gem hanging above her chest as she took a step toward the man. The man cocked the gun.

"We're a very friendly family," he said.

Sunset looked around, there were several pictures of him, along with his younger sister, fiancee, and parents, who held up various awards. Some of them his, probably from nabbing some know-nothing criminal while others were likely scientific awards from his sister. "Nah, that's not it." She said with a smile. She took another step forward, "pretty unfriendly, actually." She bent down and grabbed her bag that contained her magical journal and slung it over her shoulder. Her left shoulder. "But it's the way you're unfriendly," she spared a quick glance at Sonata who slowly lowered her sawed off shotgun, "how you're so polite about it!" Sunset took another step forward then frowned. "Like you're doing me a favor..."

Sunset ignored the detective as she walked toward the entrance of the house while Sonata quietly followed with her shotgun lowered, but still faced in his direction. Sunset paused, then turned around. "Peace, with honor," she said with two fingers raised on each hand, "well, I think that's what they? Human history was never my strong suit..." she trailed off then gave a soft shrug and a brief smile. "Anyway, tell your sister, whenever she wakes up from her hospital vacation, to stay the fuck away from me, and my things." She motioned at her bag. "Otherwise, well, I still have some pent up anger from before. And I'm sure my sister here would love some fun."

Sunset turned on her heel and opened the door, "oh!-" she snapped her fingers, "now I remember," she spared a quick glance at the detective and with a grin, "I am not a crook."

Then the shotgun went off.

Hope you enjoyed, and again, sorry for not updating everything!

Siren Sunset?

Yep, Siren Sunset. I've always loved Sunset as a siren, and that snippit is a brief excerpt from the story after she becomes one.

Ah, dual-ended distress. I feel for you.

Severe anger can lead to tummy trouble, too. If you can, you should try to let go of it. An anonymous source once said, "Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die."
