    Unfortunate news...

Hey y'all! It's been a while since I logged in here. Life has thrown me and my family a curveball for the first 4 months of 2024. As the title suggests, I regret to inform my friends and followers here that my mom passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 65 due to stage 4 non-smoker lung cancer. I'm going to tell you what happened to her in another blog.

    Panini is a creep

Panini having the audacity to tell Chowder he's the clingy one is a form of gaslighting. She's the one who's clingy and obsessed with him and constantly stalks and harasses him. She doesn't get Chowder's "I'm not your boyfriend" message into her thick skull.

A particular instance of a white actor voicing an Asian character

I can imagine the outrage on the Internet if Jeff Bennett providing the voice of Raj in Camp Lazlo exists in today's time.

People would call him a racist for using an Indian accent for the character yet he's not of Indian descent.

I don't want to use Discord anymore

The whole debacle that occurred last night left me absolutely traumatized. I ended up crying and sulking because that motherfucker put me through shit and the other motherfucker threatened to call the police on me for something I didn't do. This was the first time I've ever experienced this on the site. The hacker who has stolen my account is going after my friends to victimize and/or scam them

A stamp against a racist unworthy of EEA · 1:08am May 25th, 2020

I hate this close-minded asshole with every fiber of my being. His racist attitude and offensive remarks toward non-ponies made me so irate that I want to channel my inner Angry Grandpa and punch the screen as if I socked him in his punchable face.

He doesn't deserve to remain in EEA because of his actions that almost caused a world war. He needs to be fired, get arrested, and sent to prison for his entire fucking life. Thankfully, there's a story where he ultimately gets his well-deserved karma.

EChancellor Neighsay Gets What He Deserves
After the events of 'School Daze,' Chancellor Neighsay is summoned by Celestia.

The stamp is made by NicholasTheBlueGWR. You can also check out this piece made by LUCADOLLAR where he gets the sack from Celestia and Twilight.

If there's somepony who is open-minded and treats every creature equally and respectfully, they are worthy of becoming the new head of EEA. To hell with that goddamn boomer of a Neighsay! 🖕:twilightangry2::flutterrage:

Must admit I kind of like him. His arc, while obvious, was interesting, plus he had a great voice actor and design. While prejudice is obviously wrong the writers kind of proved his point at times, with how nasty some of the races acted, (Griffins, dragons, and yaks seem to be filled with crappy personalities), plus they had stuff like Smolder thinking it's okay to breathe flames in enclosed spaces which could have killed everyone, and Yona doing tons of property damage. Gallus had such a crummy caretaker Trixie came to his defense!

Also, we don't see 'lesser' species like mules, diamond dogs, buffalo, etc. at the school...nor a single zebra! Yeah, I hate the School of Friendship with a passion...

Not gonna lie, I gotta give it to the writers who wrote him as an accurate representation of people who are still like that in the real world.

I think giving us a pony with this prejudice and showing that he could change fit the show's themes well. Much better handled than say the paranoia when Zecora made her debut.

Okay. Chill the heck down first of all.
Arrested? For his beliefs? For shutting down a school after it was damaged by the other creatures and Twilight's failure to show responsible actions on her first day?
The boomer? Oh lord that term just makes me want to laugh,
The Prince of the Yaks nearly declared war on Equestria for a lot less justification than Neightsay's much more calm level headed response. The changelings tried twice to invade, if you told people you just flipped a switch and they're all better you expect anyone to just believe that?

And even if there's pushback against what I just said, Neighsay changed his view. You don't just magically think that other people aren't all you believe they are, you have to be shown, and they sure showed it by saving him and Equestria. There's bullheaded ignorance and there's misunderstanding. Neightsay was the latter, he was by no means evil, he just had beliefs of his own and wanted to protect his from what he viewed as a threat and not without justification on at least half of them had commited acts of violence and aggression or at least held his kind in contempt or showed their very volatile nature and willingness for war. His fear, Friendship being used against Equestria, DID come true, The Trio of Doom did use it and came closest to a decisive victory, he was right, Friendship is something that can be used for good or evil in finding like-minded others to align yourself with for either protection and peace, or aggression and war.

Well, how about the fact that he locked the Young Six in a room and illegally took over the School of Friendship? Shouldn't there be an appropriate punishment for him?

He may have repented, but that does not excuse him for his bigotry. There's an old saying that goes, "Sorry doesn't cut it".

5268749
Equestria's a weird place when it comes to punishment, but I think it's mostly about a willingness to change, which Neighsay did. Honestly, I think Rainbow Dash committing borderline terrorist acts on Cloudsdale that could have killed a ton of ponies with her sabotage was worse, but we're just supposed to focus on her not having a pet for a few months...:rainbowderp:

Clearly, the justice system is flawed there. Since the show is geared towards young girls, they may be too young to understand the concept of legality and the like.

5268754
True, but as we know things like that and Discord indirectly endangering every creature (including Flurry Heart who could have been outright murdered by Sombra!) is practically given a free pass. I think Neighsay suffered enough for his mistakes.

5268749
Okay, let's do this one by one.
Locking the Young six up: Far from the worst thing done by another. Neighsay felt that they were a danger, and while that was misguided and bad, what was he supposed to do? Let them roam free? He wasn't going to leave them in their forever, he was only keeping them their until their guardians came to get them. There has been FAR WORSE done by others who should be better. Justice in Equestria has a moral compass that's all over the place. Rainbow Dash sold Fluttershy into SLAVERY. And Twilight said that was a FAIR TRADE. Does that mean slave trade is still acceptable in Equestria under certain circumstances???? A foal was locked in hell by the mane six and the princesses.

Taking over the school illegally: How was that illegal? He is the head of the EEA, and the mare Twilight left in charge, Starlight, was nowhere to be found. Was he suppose to see a school with no leadership and just say "This is fine" and walk away? No, that would be very irresponsible. So he took on the task himself. No punishment for either of those things as the latter wasn't illegal, the former was reasonable excluding his bad judgement, but still within his power and right to do so, and the Young six forgave him. If you have no complaining party, there is no case for punishment. If one wishes to not press charges, authority can do nothing.

Yeah it kinda does. That way of thinking is dangerous, very dangerous, if that is how someone thinks, then you'll never get people to change their minds. If you hold only judgement and ridicule for others, don't expect them to better themselves, when you turn your back on people who are racist for being misguided and uninformed, the other side, real racists who are that way for evil reasons, have their arms open and say "look at them. Those bastards are nothing but hateful fucks, I know how it feels to be ostracized by them. You're not alone, come with me and you'll see, there are plenty of us, we don't need them, we have each other." People respond better to an olive branch than a sword, and any reason they may have been able to see and change their ways is snuffed out because the the only ones who gave them the time of day, were the racists. They then spend all their time around them because anti-bigots chased them away, and they're filled with more and more racist rhetoric because they never hear the other side.
Neighsay was a perfect message done by the show, there are people who have bad ideas and unfairly judge others for terrible reasons, but they themselves aren't bad people just for that, it's the motive and roots behind that belief. Some people just have wound up thinking this way, but they don't hold evil in their hearts, do not think they're beyond reason. Show them why their way of thinking is wrong and be willing to listen to them, and you may just find they're willing to listen as well.
