A piece of nostalgia for everyone who's heard it, back when times were so much more simple and peaceful. (It's Fireflies) · 4:07am May 7th, 2020
At one point or another, we've all heard this, be it at home or on the car radio during a road trip with the family. The music video was especially fun to watch. I listened to it earlier while randomly streaming, and all it did was bring on a melancholy feeling while simultaneously bringing on strong undertones of nostalgia. It'll probably do the same thing for you. We certainly need something like this right about now.
Honestly the first time I heard this was a Pony Music Video from like, 2016 or so.
This was the first version I listened to.
Ilysabeth.
Not sure if she died irl, or left the fandom.

Huh, not heard of this person or heard this song before. I just listened to it and...I wub her voice. She's not dead; she's still active, if you see her video posts. Last one was two months ago, so she's definitely still living and in the pony fandom. Maybe only not as much as previously.

I'm sure that's how almost everybody in the world has gotten into certain bands or songs for as long as they can remember. You tend to hear most things through fan-made content and the like, like me when I discovered The Fat Rat and The Living Tombstone (I think?).
Fireflies is iconic. The dreamy synths and imaginative lyrics are what make Owl City an outstanding artist.
