To anyone who has not serially downvoted me, please disregard.
It came to my attention that someone has downvoted the majority of my stories. I can only assume that I did, said or posted something that caused offense. As I make a significant attempt to keep things positive (other than story content on occasion), I'm somewhat confused.
If you are reading this, out of curiosity I'd kindly ask you to indicate what issue you took with my postings. I will not ask you to retract your downvotes, as I don't care for the most part.

There's a good possibility that's true. It may be just be an angst-filled individual randomly downvoting people.

Someone hit all of mine one day a few months back. There are a couple people out there who will just go off randomly.

It probably is. Anyone who honestly didn't like your stories wouldn't expend the energy to serial downvote them. They'd just go look elsewhere for stories to read.
If anyone does come forward, I wouldn't necessarily trust what they say either; they may just want to see you try to apologize for whatever they make up. They'd see it as a good troll.
They probably just want to be a thorn in your side, or get a rise out of you, or some other boring motivation.

Good points. I'd be tempted to try to have a rational conversation with them, when dialogue is likely not their goal.
IMO engaging with people as comment sections were intended to allow is much more fulfilling than anonymously downvoting, but to each their own I guess.

I could be wrong, sometimes conversation does work. It's certainly a good thing to pursue. Maybe it would work out. Always hard to tell on the internet. :/
