Has it really been a year since FiM wrapped up? Where did all that time go?
Why have I only published those three things in that time? Where did my spark go, the one I had back in 2018 and 2019? All those electronic pages stored on the cloud, birthed by the inspiration of the mind, collecting electronic dust as time marches on.
Lots of things happened on this day.
In 732, Frankish king Charles Martel defeated an Umayyad army at the Battle of Tours.
In 1846, Triton, Neptune's largest moon, was discovered by English astronomer William Lassell.
In 1928, Chiang Kai-Shek became the Chairman of the Republic of China.
In 1970, Fiji gained it's independence from the United Kingdom.
Guess we're doing this again. Oh well, looks fun enough, and if you want to know stuff, then all the better.

I first came into this fandom sometime in late April or early May of 2018. I was sitting in bed bored when suddenly I got the idea to watch the first episode of MLP:FiM and riff the hecking heck out of it, as well as see what the big deal was. I pulled up the first episode on Youtube, expecting it to be girly trash ripe for the mocking when...it's a fantasy action series? Huh, didn't see that coming. As soon as I heard Nightmare Moon's voice for the first time, I knew I was hooked.
I have lots of stories than run through the movie theater that is my mind and keep me entertained. After I started watching more of FiM, I think specifically right around the Season 2 Episode "Hearths Warming Eve", I started to realize that holy crap, there's an entire world here that I can use to craft entertaining adventures. And so I made a Fimfiction account and immediately started work on my first story, "A Storm For The Ages", which you can still read today. It's not very good at all, but I'm hoping to go back and rewrite it soon and make it the epic I feel it was meant to be.
