To get out minds off things in these crazy times. · 8:44pm Mar 14th, 2020

So... things are pretty crazy out there right now, huh?

I'm not gonna act like Coronavirus doesn't exist because that would be dumb, and as it is the entire world is currently in a state of great panic over it all. Sports are postponed or cancelled, schools are shutting down, Italy has basically entered a lockdown if I've heard correctly. Little Vermont has been swarmed recently by people from New York and Mass who are all in a frenzy over all this, and I just finished what will be my last day of work for a while.

Ya'll better be appreciating your cashiers right now.

However, even with all of that going on, the world currently needs ways to calm down a bit. Yes, this is a horrible thing and we should rightfully prepare for it, but there is a difference between rational thinking and a panicked frenzy. With that in mind I spent this week thinking if there was anything outside of my writing that I could do for you all to take our minds away from things.

As you can guess, the seemingly out of place picture of a Fire Emblem game is a big part of that.

I've done some streaming in the past but never really did it as a daily thing. However, if I can use my limited knowledge on streaming to help us all relax a bit right now, then why not go for it?

So, starting this Monday I will be doing an iron man run of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance as a way for us to chill out together during this time. For those who don't know what an iron man run is, I have to play through the game without being allowed to reset if a unit dies. If someone dies, they're gone. If Ike dies, game over.

I don't know exactly when I will be starting it on Monday, but I'll leave you all a blog post when I do. So, with that all said, I'll see you all then!
