Important announcement: Hiatus · 10:46pm Feb 22nd, 2020
I know that some of you are going to be upset by this but let me explain.
Due to schedule problems and my lack of focused creative energy, I am putting The King of Swing and The Long Nightmare on Hiatus.
No, this isn’t a “Hiatus = Canceled” situation. I just have found myself in a situation where I have too many projects going at once and because of that, my ability to effectively write compelling quality content it frozen. Essentially, I have shot myself in the foot.
So my plan is to put those on Hiatus. I can then focus my energy on the sequel to A Time to Think, which I still don’t have an official title for. I will write and post that until: A) I get it to a point where I can put it on pause and switch to one of the other stories. Or: B) Figure out an effective writing schedule.
Again, I’m sorry to those who have been enjoying my other two stories, but I would rather give you one well written chapter than three poorly written story archs.
In the meantime, please give the A Time to Think sequel some love when it comes out. Also, to anyone reading this who is a writer and also has a writing schedule please tell me about your method down below. Any help would be appreciated. And now, as a present, a preview to the sequel.
“Hate. Let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate you since I began to exist. There are 4 million miles of black magic tunes covering every inch of the tunnels that make up my domain. If the word ‘Hate’ was engraved on every centimeter of those runes and tunnels in the smallest print possible, it would even begin to equal how much I hate you, and the inhabitants of Equestria, and Equis at this very instant. For you. Hate. Hate.”
I can't wait for the sequel to a time to think but take your time please don't push yourself we can wait.
Hey my man!
Take all the time you need. When we run out of creative energy we can only switch off for a while, then come back in force.
Muses are capricious little bs
Incidentally, have you tried any story-writing assistance software? Manuskript is great, free and open-source. It have a timeline, index cards and a "snowflake method" assistant (which might benefit you, especially to avoid writer's block)
