Charlie awoke, her eyes fluttering open. She looked around in confusion.
This isn't the hotel.... she mused. She appeared to be in a hallway of sorts. Lockers lined the hall with a few breaks, and doors dotted the breaks in the line.
"What the hell?" Charlie asked quietly before looking down and seeing what she wore. "Is this....a school uniform?"
She heard a wet squelching sound in a room to the right of her.
"Is this a school?" She mused, opening the door to the room. What she saw shocked her. The first thing her eyes fell on was an X-acto knife, covered in fresh blood. She moved up the arm holding it and saw a familiar, one-eyed face.
"Vaggie?" Charlie asked in shock.
Vaggie was sitting on the floor of the room, blood dripping from the side of her face where her eye was, with her long hair covering the wound. Next to her was a dead body of a teacher.
"What happened?" Charlie asked. Vagatha seemed traumatized. Scared, as she got up, clutching the knife in her hands, both of them shaking.
"Vaggie...?" Charlie asked unsurely as her girlfriend approached, holding the knife and ready to kill.
"It's me, Charlie!" Charlie attempted, her hands scrambling for the doorknob as Vagatha reared her knife back and was about to strike. "Stop!"
The door gave, and Charlie scrambled out and closed the door just as Vagatha's knife pierced the door.
"Vaggie....' Charlie sighed, closing her eyes as she stabled her breathing. "What the fuck is going on?"
She opened her eyes, and gasped, her new situation worse than the old one.
She was dressed in a 1940s type red dress with a large bowtie and was in an office.
There was a dead man sitting at a desk, his body hunched over in agony and a hole in his head, a gun, and cigar on an ashtray both had smoke rising from them.
Sitting at the desk, a surprised look on his face, large amount of money held in one hand, and the other resting in the pool of blood was...
"Angel Dust?" Charlie asked in shock. "What the-"
"Oh." Anthony smirked weakly. picking up his bloodsoaked gun and aiming at Charlie, cocking the barrel. "Talk bout bein' in the wrong place at the wrong time! Sorry, toots."
Charlie braced herself for the oncoming gunshot, screwing her eyes closed.
Blam!
Much to her surprise, she wasn't dead. She seemed to be in some sort of puddle, and music played from a nearby radio.
......thes may be Chanel, Gucci! Your shoes crocodile! But baby you're never fully dressed without a smile!
She opened her eyes in shock, recognizing the music. She looked down and saw she was now in a 1930s themed dress, white this time. Yet it was quickly being stained red by the liquid she was sitting in.
......you stand for nothing you'll fall for it all! We got all we need, got no more! You're never fully dressed without a smile! And if you stand for somethin' you can have it all!! 'Cause if is real your love will never die
"Darling....." a familiar voice said from behind her.She turned to see the maker of the carnage, and stared into a toothy grin.
You're never fully dressed without a smile (oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh)! You're never fully dressed without a smile (oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh)! You're never fully dressed without a smile (oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh)!
"You're never fully dressed without a smile." The grinning man finished.
