Author Update! Original, Personal, and even *gasp* FANFICTION!? · 3:42am Feb 14th, 2020
Let's begin with what will have probably got most people's attention. A couple days ago I actually got some pony typing done and slapped together a hot and steamy 4.6-4.7k words of Trixie that will be coming out with my next original book because MARKETING!. I also tapped a bit at another oneshot, but it's not done yet and we'll see if it gets done. *sigh* But that's what the rest of the blog is about. Oh, and for anyone hoping for more 'Pausing the Game' you'll be happy to hear that it's one of two larger projects I'm hoping to work on over the next two weeks.
Edit: When I say with my next book, I still mean published here since I can't publish pony stuff professionally without getting Hasbro to try and murder me.
Why two weeks specifically? Well... Daughters of Dusk Vol. 2 is coming at March. 1st. If you don't remember that one, or have a harder time finding it, it's because it's the one with a cover too hot for Fimfiction. I can link my general author page though where you can find it. It's also the one about a bunch of trained psycho killers being sprung from their facility to live with a caretaker who is overwhelmingly under qualified to handle them. Hijinks and sexiness ensues or so that would be it if it weren't me writing the story, for better or not. But yeah, the second book is coming at 24k words of them heading to the most dangerous place of all: THE MALL! I had a lot of fun, and other emotions, while writing the book and its delays weren't out of me not being enthusiastic to get it done.
That brings us to why the two weeks statement. The answer to that is simple. I have Sarafune to work on. I like to get these series out once a year and Daughters of Dusk missed its December release. I hope not to allow that to happen with Sarafune Vol. 4. How?
Well, I'm moving. Not immediately, as I have a couple things to take care of here, but I spent the last week with my family on a psuedo sort of vacation. It was soooo nice, and I got over 20k words done while out on it. It helped me refresh, re-energize... and didn't last much once I got back to Washington. I'd already been making plans, for various reasons, about possibly moving, but that anxiety coming home and my roommates encouraging me even means that I'll likely head back down to where my parents are. Not until early March most likely, due to me having somethings to take care of before I go, but the plan is in place. Just have to, you know... do it.
So, wish me luck, keep an eye out for things, yadda yadda yadda. Have a good night and farewell!
Right, you're a published author and therefore the things people have to pay to read come first.
5202963 Okay, I can't entirely tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Admittedly, I was a little sarcastic myself with the title since I know people would like more pony works from me.

It's not so much sarcasm as resignation to the fact that reality is under no obligation to be convenient for me personally. Especially when I'm not paying for it to be.
