After watching ALL the movies, reading some of the books and even playing some of the games, Mister Master Rals is ready to share his thoughts on Rey.
"I can understand why someone would not care for her or the films she is in."
Thank you. That's all I really wanted.
"I found the books more enjoyable. The story progressed at a more comfortable pace in most of them."
Yeah, a lot of people say the books are better than the film. But they say that about a lot of books and a lot of films.
"Reading it for yourself allows you to take it in at your own pace, rather than one set by the director. There's limitations, though, and a book can be improperly paced as well. Generally though, reading tends to be a more personal experience than watching a film or playing a video game."
Sounds about right. While we're on the subject, what did you think of the games?
"They were interesting."
What'd you think of SWTOR?
"There's a lot of travel in that one."
You realize you're in it, right?
"Well, yes. I've actually been to those places and the game makes them feel smaller than they really are. More contained."
I see.
"It also takes a lot less time to get from place to place. Visiting entire planets one after the other in a matter of moments, that's quite a lot of travel in a short amount of time."
I guess so. Are you saying maybe I should take more time to appreciate things for what they are rather than what they mean to me and my goals?
"Actually, I was just making an observation."
Ah. Wanna watch The Office now?
"Absolutely!"
