Plans for the year · 3:06pm Jan 1st, 2020
Hey everyone. Looks like we made it to 2020, despite the best efforts of mankind to do otherwise :P
Thank yous to everyone who is still interested in my little part of FIMFiction, and to those who still leave the occasional comment when I make the occasional update. Amazingly, I'll have been on this site for 6 years as of the 10th, putting out my special variety of erotic horse stories all the while. So I'm here today to give you all a run down of my plans for this year, just because I feel that those who have stuck it out with me this long deserve some info.
So firstly, I'm going to finish the little Deer story I started for Christmas, which only has one more chapter and an epilogue to do before it's finished. I realize that it hasn't been that popular, but it's close to finished anyways so I just want to get it out of the way.
After that, I'm gonna go back to finishing a small demo I made for a Visual Novel style game idea that eventually want to do in order to try and make my writing profitable in some way, while finally getting some use out of my programming degree. I'll be posting a link to the demo here when I'm finished, to see if people find it interesting, and then some time down the road I'll try to make a full game out of it.
After the demo is finished, which shouldn't take too long to do, I'm going to dedicate the rest of this year to getting back to my other pony stories and finishing them. This means the current EqTS stories, Weak and Powerless, the stand alone Scylla story where she is a child, Legacy of Dainn, all of them to some degree will be finished this year. Now I know what you all are thinking, and this doesn't mean that I'm quitting the fanfiction stuff, but I'm just working towards getting to a cleared plate. For too long I have been piling up unfinished stories, and that just isn't like how I used too write, and because of it, I think it has impeded my creative process a little, cause I'm not very sure what to work on next, and I'm always thinking about like 5 separate stories and what I could do with it. This will also open up more time for me to work on the previously mentioned visual novel game, which I think that people who are interested in my work will find entertaining.
Well, here is to another year of writing, and I hope to see you all in the comments.
Best of luck with all your writing plans, Schorl!
I admit I haven't been reading as much fic lately, but I've enjoyed your stuff, and hope you keep writing more.
Hope real life treats you well too, in the new year 🎉
