I don't know what went wrong.
No, wait, I do, I agreed to write two short stories on a tight deadline at the worst time of year. Because I am perverse, and because I promised them (rather than it just being a contest I can cheese out of) and because they're amazing prompts, I will be finishing them on time.
The porn one MIGHT even be well-edited depending on how far my unpaid intern gets through it.
The other one is full of iambs, and writing 200 words of it feels like writing 2000. It's probably getting submitted on the 22nd, with little editing beyond me re-counting Zecora' syllables. 
And here I thought the hardest part of writing Zecora would be avoiding magical negress stereotypes. Honestly all you have to do is give her a personality and you're fine. But her dialogue. 
I am not a poet, and it shows.
So what am I doing? I'm up and browsing the Steam sale, as if a. I had any money and b. didn't have basically every game I will ever need already.
Anyway, since this post is very negative, plz also have Ninja Sex Party's incredible cover of the Last Unicorn theme song.
I am now very glad I didn't go forward with my idea to do my own Nanowrimo in December. :B
