Oh... oh wow... t-thank you! Wow... I know that's not a lot compared to other authors' counts, and I also know that a lot of you people are simply my friends, but still... I'm very happy and very grateful for all of your support ^_^

Heh... its funny... this day is also the one year anniversary of me becoming a brony. One year ago, on this day, I discovered a little musical ditty on youtube called Muffin Proof by Balddumborat. I became hypnotized by the song as well as the 'legend' behind the certain wall-eyed mare and set out to learn more. First came other Derpy inspired music, then the Doctor Whooves radio plays (incidentally, the day I became a brony was also the day I became a Whovian XD), next came the fan art, some comics... and then finally the show itself followed by, you guessed it, fan fiction.

The rest, I guess, is history ;)

Now... I really wish I could do something for you guys to celebrate this achievement... but as finals draw ever closer, I'm left with less and less time to do anything fun on my own... the most I CAN do is to at least assure you that I AM working on the next chapters of A Cog in the Machine. Chapter 10 has been a bit of a bitch (I have a word doc with 18K worth of deleted content -_-), but it IS coming along, finally, and I plan for two chapters to follow in its wake once it does come out!

Well... I suppose I can leave you with some music or something. Merc did it after all, haha.

As some of you may have already guessed, I like to listen to music when it comes to writing this series... sometimes I even share that music with you IN the story (with mixed results... although I've gotten better at implementing it)! So, for my followers, here's what I guess could be considered a spoiler of whats to come: a song bite from a planned scene in a future chapter. Will the music make it into the story itself? What scene am I even talking about? Will I ever properly credit the wonderful artists who make these things that I blatantly steal/share? You'll just have to wait to find out (except for the artist thing. Everyone will be properly credited in a manner that DOESN'T screw up the flow of the story)!

P.S.S. Oh... yeah, you probably want my opinion on the season three premiere, don't you? Well, I liked some bits, disliked other things, freaking LOVED some of the lore additions aaaaannnnddddd am pissing myself over the book at the end. You know... the one with 'stars' and 'swirls' on it? *Gulp* If a certain demonic, dragon worshiping mare happens to make an appearance this season... *Double gulp*
