At some point in the next week we're going to be halfway through the official writing period for the Young Six Writing Contest, aka The Discovery, aka inevitable_fun.exe. I don't know the exact day we will cross halfway because that involves math, math involves critical thinking, and I'm not about that life.
I hope everyone's given some thought to starting their entry, and don't worry about the fact that you haven't started yet. Nobody has started. That's perfectly—

There's More Money Now!
Thanks to a generous donation from [anonymous_contributor], prizes have levelled up:
FIRST PLACE – $145 USD (+20!)
SECOND PLACE – $90 USD (+15!)
THIRD PLACE – $40 USD (+15!)
In case anyone is unsure what they would do with such money, don't panic. To come up with some ideas, I surveyed the judges and asked how they plan to spend their paycheques. Their answers were, in no particular order: "Donate to the my local wildlife federation", "Buy Fortnite", and "You guys are getting paid?"
Me? I would buy seeds. I mean, think of all the seeds you could buy with that cash! Seeds that can be grown into trees and then sold later. Trees are gonna be worth a lot pretty soon. My friend Greta told me so.
