    A Grateful Post

This week, I've been thinking about some of the things I'm grateful for in my life. Here are seven of them in no particular order:

Family--Because they are the greatest. I'm grateful that the people I share my life with are also my best friends.

    Why My Mom Is Amazing

Me: Mom, I'm stuck in my writing! I don't know how the whole story is going to play out and I just get confused every time I to plow through. It's making me depressed today--

Mom: Why don't you try writing everything you want to happen on some note cards and rearrange them a few times until you get an outline you like?

    Me: I don't think that'll work!

Me: MOM! It worked!!

LOL. :)

I'm participating in #LightTheWorld this Christmas season. Today's prompt was to think of someone who is a good example of Christlike service and post it. I can't think of anyone better than my mommy. She's always there to help the people around her and her children without expecting anything in return. She's always been an example and role model for me, and I should honestly listen to her advice without pretending I know better.

Huh, I ought to take a lesson from Pinkie in that regard. :)
