So, this probably doesn't come as a surprise for the people who even care.
But Scales and Carapases has been officially but non-officially canceled. What do I mean by this?
Well, my writing style has changed a lot from when I first wrote it. I want to take a proper crack at the story.
Thus I will be rewriting the story as a whole, it'll take a very different direction from the first version. I'll be taking certain story beats from the original story and throwing it into the new one. It's going to be a bit ambitious on my part as it'll end up being one of my longer projects.
But I'll be leaving the original story up and will effectively be archiving it.
I'm sorry again and I thank the 150+ people who have decided to follow me and the thousands that have read my stories.

I was hoping you would continue it, but if you want to change it, its fine, at least you archived the old version, can't wait to see the new version.

Bummer. But flips side of that coin, it is not completely forgotten since a redo is coming.
Well, I really enjoyed this story, so it's sad to see it cancelled, but on the other hand a rewrite does have some excitement to it. I'll wait and see what you come up with.

Well, on the one hand I am saddened that Scales and Carapaces is canceled. On the other hand... it is being rewritten, and taken in a new direction. So I can accept things as they are. Here's to hoping that the rewrite is gonna be good.
