Alright, I know no-one cares really but for the three people who might, the short story is that I have not done anything whatsoever for the last two months.
Blame can be partly assigned to the lack of new Pony which kinda caused my attention and motivation to drift (I don't think I'm the only one to get that feeling), but mainly the blame rests firmly on the shoulders of my new hobby that I picked up. In short, after a few months of waiting, October finally saw me begin my solo static line skydiving course. As you may imagine, this was kind of a big deal.
In short, my weekends turned from being prime writing time to being prime jumping-out-of-planes time and it's only now that I feel I can calm the fuck down enough to take my laptop to the airfield and get some stuff done while waiting.
SUMMARY: I AM NOT DEAD, JUST UBER DISTRACTED. UPDATES WILL RESUME BUT DON'T GO HOLDING YOUR BREATH.
I could apologise, but frankly I do enough of that already. To be honest, since I did my first jump, I have done nothing of anything, including work, and spent most of the time practicing, jumping, or drooling over videos like this.
It's really good fun.
Please don't hate me.

For the record, skydiving is the most ... I don't even know what to call it ... intense? Exhilarating? Powerful? It's the best thing I have ever done. Bar none.
But yeah. No reason to just drop everything and leave my stories hanging.
