    Yes I am alive

Sorry I've been so absent as of late. My new project kinda absorbed me a bit :twilightsheepish: Actually, for the past year ever since I decided to write a Warriors fanfiction I couldn't really think about much else as far as writing is concerned, even right now.

    It's been 10 years!

Yeah, it's been 10 years since I've made an account on this website and published the first two chapters of Rebirth of the Damned, my first story (you can't tell now because back then when you would edit chapters and save them then it would overwrite the date of publication).

General update · 10:50am Oct 26th, 2019

So, been quiet for a while again, thought I'll let you know how and what I'm doing.

I'll be making two more blog posts very soon, first talking about MLP's finale; I know, kinda late, but I wanted to make sure everybody had seen it... aaaand I'm super lazy. The second post will be about predictions regarding the next WoW expansion, as it's pretty much tradition for me at this point; will also briefly comment on the recent... situation with Blizzard.

I'm currently working on a chapter for Infinite Potential. It's... coming along very slowly, unfortunately. I can't seem to motivate myself to sit down and work on it properly. Fortunately, it will be much, much shorter than the last chapter, so with any luck I'll get it done soon. Now, I said that I'll probably start working immediately on next chapter, buuut I think I'll instead do one for Rebirth of the Damned quickly, just a few thousand word long one, hadn't updated that story for too long for my taste. Still should be able to meet my qouta for this year with 4 chapters for Infinite Potential, regardless. Juuust might have to tie myself to the chair for holidays :twilightsheepish:

So, aside from work taking more and more of my time and draining me physically and mentally, the reason why I hadn't work on stories to much is pretty obvious. WoW Classic. Been stuck in it playing for a good month before I finally grew a little tired and went back to retail for a week before stopping WoW for a bit. Got to level 53 on my warlock, so getting close to max level^^ I'll probably do retail content for a while after returning then will get back to Classic. It's awesome, the game again feels like an RPG^^

Aside from that, though, I've also played some other games. Since it's October and you should play some scary games this time of year, I played through Man of Medan, awesome, Until Down-kinda game that's somewhat based on real story of Ourang Medan:

Pretty great, replaying it actually cause I got two people killed because quick time events, I suck at those... and the second one was UNFAIR! I've seen playthrough of some other people (Scary Game Squad) and I did a LOT better than them, but I missed one quick time event that they didn't and it got a character killed :ajbemused:. Anyway, after that I finally played Conarium, which I wanted to do since February. It's slightly based on In the Mountain of Madness story by Lovecraft. It's... well, sorta linear, pretty boring I suppose, you can die only about 5 times (actually there is an achivement for getting all 5 of them), but it looks great, and the spooky mood stays through the game. Sadly, its about only 4 hours long. After that I started playing the Sinking City... and it's awesome! You are a detective solving cases in an open world (confined to one town of course) set in Lovecraft lore and you have to explore the sea depth every now and then! What more do you want?! Well, I suppose the option to explore the sea depth as you want, but still... There are quite a lot Lovecraft stories thrown into this game, like in first half an hour I noticed elements from two completely unrelated stories. Having lots of fun with the game, though I'm close to the end too now. I also returned briefly to my last playthrough of Fallout New Vegas, played through Dead Money DLC, it counts as scary game right? Also played Dead Space 3 a bit, got recently reminded how fun this game was^^

Soo... what should I play next? I'm thinking about Outer Worlds, most of what I saw on the internet so far suggests that this is a really great game. Has a lot of Fallout New Vegas-like, which is awesome. What do you say guys, should I get it? And what other games would you suggest? One more game I'm considering getting is Narcosis, you get trapped at the bottom of the ocean with your failing diving suit, sounds vaguely SOMA like.

I am almost certainly going to get Nintendo Switch and Pokemon Sword or Shield soon too. Even though I've grew distant from Pokemon I still tried to keep up with the games, I still love them. Plus that new Ponyta is so cute^^

Been also watching some shows lately. I put Star Wars Rebels on hold for a bit, having lost interest with Star Wars again... even though the movie will be coming up soon. Ugh, I hate the new Star Wars movies :raritycry: I'm still thinking whether or not to go to see this new movie, I had been to see all those new ones despite already knowing I wouldn't like them, but those upcoming trailers are really having the opposite effects on me this time. There were still some good stuff in the new movies, though, I'll admit it. Ugh, I dunno, maybe I should go, at the very least so that I could with clear conscience say that it's bad? Hm... Anyway, changing the subject, aside from catching up with new Tangled and Miraculous Ladybug episodes, I've also finally gave Ducktales reboot a watch. OMG, its AWESOME! Seriously, that show is amazing, I highly recommend it to all of you! Before that I watched the Lion Guard, dispised the show for years ever since it came up but the season 3 trailers made me interested enough to give it a watch. Aaand... I liked it. Yeah, when you overlooked some of the canon breaking stuff and that this was made for very little children, it's actually pretty fun. The first half of season 3 was also very good... but then the second half came, and it was SO disappointing! Seriously, I hadn't been this disappointed in the series ending since How I Met Your Mother, and I'm a guy who's okay with Game of Thrones ending!

I'm now trying to decide what show I should watch next. Gravity Falls looks fun. Been thinking about Skylanders Academy because Spyro and Cynder are on my personal top 10 ships/couples list, but from what I know this show isn't very good :/ Moominvalley 2019 looks surprisingly good, might give that a watch, I used to love Moominvalley from the 90s as a kid. Any suggestions?

So, that's all for this update, will be making those two other blog posts soon so stay tuned^^

Afraid I don't have much in the way of game suggestions at the moment.
I suppose the closest might be the Golden Sun games, particularly the first two, which came up recently in conversation and so were close to the front of my mind, and Hearts of Iron IV, which I recently picked up on sale and have been playing the Fallout mod for (there's also a pony mod, which I plan to get to at some point, particularly since it's what actually convinced me to buy the game). Don't know if either's the sort of thing you'd be interested in.

And even less by a lot on television show suggestions, sorry.

Nice to hear things seem to be going alright for you; good luck with the work and writing!

Thanks for both suggestions^^ Golden Sun's plot and gameplay look interesting, although if I found the right game the two first from this series where for GBA? Would be a little tough getting them over here... as for Hearts of Iron, I've been meaning to try one of the series at some point, it's always fun to see how history would go if one changes a few things... will be on a lookout for next sale I guess.

No worries, started Gravity Falls^^

Thanks, hope things are going alright for you too^^
