So, making a title image for an upcoming story I'll begin posting next week... · 10:39am Oct 19th, 2019
... is proving to be very tedious and very complicated for an idea that shouldn’t have been. Curse my muses and their fickle nature, and my insistence of getting it “right”. Well, at least the plotting is done for the details, and most of the shading is done on it’s own merits. Thank god for my makeshift light-table, or this would have driven me to a fit of blind ragequitting and art destroying.
In other news, I’m also working on another “Apparition Amphetheater” installment, which, like clockwork, will be posted at the end of the month. It’s another multi-chapter, and I know EXACTLY what I want to do with it, unlike my recent mediocre flop “Mr. Killjoy” (don’t get me wrong, that one was fun to write, but the reception wasn’t what I was hoping for, and looking back, I most definitely meandered a bit too much in the story).
Also, if you haven’t noticed, I’ve recently uploaded a single-shot story called “Insecticide”, and the first chapter to a side story called “Elements: Sworn Through Swords”. The former being very well received for the little attention my stories tend to get, and the latter being... well, largely ignored, but otherwise positive. Though, the former has garnered a small amount of new interest in “Elements Change the Dark Hearts” which will always make me smile, so there’s that.
I just hope I can keep up the pace... not just with the writing, but with the art (granted, I do have quite a bit done and ready to post, but I’m going to TRY to hold off for a little... the apt word being TRY.
Furthermore... I’ve really been playing more games lately... Having a lot of fun with that than I have in a bit. Maybe it’s because I’m in such a sense of ease these days due to my wife finally living with me that it makes my hobbies more enjoyable.
Until the next post, my dear readers!
