How can some of coherently write sentences after the finale? I can't even focus right now.
I'm trying to process everything that happened. There was so much in those 90 minutes that blew my mind. I was planning to write some sort of post about the finale, but that will have to wait another day.
Okay, okay. I am eating my words. Spike did not get shafted. And I've never been more happy to be wrong.
The canon. So much canon. I love it. I might be a bit excited right now so I might be assuming some of the stuff, but if the ships I saw were confirmed, then that makes me all the more happy.
And wow, that last song. What a thing of beauty.
And I was right, as were most of you: they did end on closing the book!
More coherent thoughts some other time. Right now, it's over, that's all we get for G4! See you on the next one! G5 awaits!

You have a fantastic outlook on that. I think I'm just in denial about this ending. I don't know why though. Ultimately, it doesn't matter.
And I know I've said something like that before, but here I am in the midst of a: "Holy fuck, this is it. Now what?" moment that I knew I'd get into. I've got that last song echoing in my brain as I try to sleep. I suppose I never realized how much this silly little cartoon has affected me. I know this probably sounds a bit pathetic, but I guess part of me didn't want it to end.
This sadness sweep will probably blow over in a week. Time will tell. I'm glad some people out here are sensible and not emotional nutcases like me at the moment.

Easily one of the best. It was an appropriate ending. I like it when shows don't just end, they know when this is where they want to give you a satisfying conclusion to the story you've fallen in love with. Not milking things for more seasons or merchandise, just realizing that at some point things will have to end, and that the loyal viewers should get the closure they deserve.
