Those of you who saw my most recent story know it deals with some really serious topics. I never made a public statement about this because I wanted to let the past be the past, but when I was between the ages of five and six, I was molested by two teenagers. Up until I was about fourteen, I thought I was fine, but I ended up developing a porn addiction, and I still don't know exactly why. It left a lot of fear in me that I would be sexually maladjusted as an adult. What I found out while writing the story is that I managed to recover fairly well despite the odds being against me. I kicked my addiction and started researching it, and boy am I glad I did. I've learned a lot from those parts of my life, and I hope maybe some other people can, too. I will say this: if you've ever been sexually abused, be it as a child or as an adult, please do everything in your power to seek care. There are people who will listen, sympathize, and empathize with your stories. Maybe they won't be able to give you solutions right away, but sometimes, a listening ear will allow you to more clearly examine your own psyche, and you may find a solution that way. It's all a matter of finding the right angle to tackle the problem. Anyway, I love you guys. Take care.
