A collection of unfinished art · 3:48pm Sep 9th, 2019
Stranded at school for the time being because my car battery quit on me and I am a starving artist who can't afford Uber! I'd do schoolwork but my schoolwork involves art supplies... which are in the trunk of my car... which is at a car dealership because it's broken... so yeah. That's not happening. Hungry, can't really afford to be buying overpriced food, I guess I'm blogging as a distraction.
I was going through old files on my laptop last night and was looking through all my abandoned artwork. Kinda fun to look at (for me, anyway).
September 2014. Abandoned because... I mean, why would I finish this?
August 2015. Absolutely terrifying.
December 2015. Still not many redeeming qualities here.
February 2016. Still using bases, but at least I've started to shade and create backgrounds.
August 2016. Huge jump in style and ability. But I think I got frustrated.
November 2016:
January 2017, just a doodle that I never finished:
Also january:
September 2017:
November 2017. Abandoned because bad.
December 2017: abandoned because I shaded on the wrong layer and then gave up.
August 2018: abandoned because bored. The layers are actually set up correctly so theoretically I could finish this, unlike most of my abandoned artworks.
Anything from that point forwards is not pony-related because I stopped drawing ponies except for commission purposes.
During the making of this blog, I discovered that 1) I need a new battery, there's no chance of this battery working anymore, and 2) apparently my brake lights are out. I got my car serviced less than a week ago. Shit, I've had this car for less than a month. Adulting is hard.
Still stranded at school. Left my wacom tablet at home. Bored and hungry. Press F to pay respects.

Some of these would have actually made nice art pieces if finished.

Some of them could be finished, others can't unless I basically start from scratch. So I dunno. We'll see. Anything more than two years old is probably a lost cause due to my drawing process changing so much. I wouldn't really be able to replicate the work I'd done so far and it would feel really disjointed.

Lots of respects.

Honestly, to me, it feels like the way you draw them is a sort of insight into your mind.
