Thank you and an update

So first and foremost, as the title says, I really just do want to give you a heartfelt "Thank you!" to everyone so far who has made "Thought I'd Let You Know" such a massive success (for me at least)! It is by and far the best reception one of my stories has ever received, and it was quite honestly quite amazing to me to have such a strong and positive feedback to the story so soon! It really does mean a lot to me.

Now for the update part of the post. I would like everyone to know that the first proper chapter is already in the works. I expect it to be fairly long, and basically be an entire character arc for Twilight, tackling a major event in this alternative timeline. Originally, I was kind of hoping to have the first chapter out within the week after posting the story, after its amazing start, but I simply found myself with too little time, and more importantly, I want to do this story right. I don't want to rush any part of it, or put out something that is anything less than outstanding. With this all in mind, as I work my way through this first chapter, I may break it into a few parts depending on how long it ends up being, though I won't know until I am a good way through it. If it ends up being multiple parts, I will release a "Part 1" as soon as I decide it needs to be broken up, otherwise you can expect a full "Chapter 1" sometime within the next two weeks or so, if all goes according to plan. I will not be writing that whole time, however. I will be looking around myself, and if anyone has some good references I would love for you to let me know, but I plan on reading through some of the top stories, and perhaps even some more professional literature with a critical eye to see how they pace things, how they handle dialog, chapter length/structure, wording, and so on. I want to deliver a truly special story, one that can make people laugh, or cry. I have said it before, but this is a passion project for me, and probably the most seriously I have ever taken a story. If you have not seen any of my other posts, I plan to have about 2 months max between chapters or stories. For this story, I intend to have 4 chapters that lend to an overall story arc for the first story, then moving on, I plan to do 8 more stories along the same line, each one tackling a new character development. In the meantime, know that there is a lot of work going into the next chapter, and I hope to deliver on the expectations that have been placed on this story, if not blow them out of the water.
