Well, when I saw this for the first time, I was like, "WTF?! This is traumatizing!". But when I watched it a few times, I found it quite humorous. This bizarre and politically incorrect form of satire has the art style reminiscent of Ren & Stimpy.
I can definitely see the appeal and the effort made in the mini-series, but it gave me mixed feelings overall. Even though it's a parody, I simply cannot bear the sight of ponies getting hurt, mutilated, and severed.
Anyway, hats off to you, Max Gilardi.

Everything you said about PONY.MOV isn't wrong but you gotta give the guy some credit the animation is smooth and hilarious its own way. The shed.mov is one of the things I saw when I was a green neck in the fandom, *sigh* good old time. I did had a mixed feeling about that as well in the end I made peace with it, now I take great joy about it, it help to cleanse the distaste left in my tongue by the finally.

Other than shed.mov I didn't find most of it funny. It actually gave me a pretty negative impression of bronies when I first got into the fandom way back in the day, but that's long in the past now. My favorite thing he did was actually that comic series about Jappleack (or whatever her name was) where she slowly becomes a better pony but of course, it doesn't my when she returns home!
