Season 1- Interesting choice, Look Before You Sleep is just a couple hairs above average for me. I'd go with Suited For Success or Sonic Rainboom (Despite Dash being my least favorite of the mane six), or Green Isn't Your Color.
Season 2- Despite Larson being my favorite writer on the show, I never liked Luna Eclipsed. I find Luna really obnoxious which puts me at odds with the fandom. Sisterhooves Social is my favorite, with Lesson Zero and A Canterlot Wedding close behind.
Season 3- Good choice but suffers from being way too rushed. I'd say Too Many Pinkie Pies or Magic Duel. (Also rushed but not as much.)
I'll go over more later, have to study back the seasons afterwards!

Honestly everything. Don't like her design, voice, speech patterns, attitude, how she almost genocided Equestria out of sheer jealously, or how she's too dumb to realize flying around cackling like q maniac and shouting wouldn't scare ponies . Then there was that IMO awful episode where she nearly geta a bunch of ponies killed again by creating the Tantabus so she can wallow in angst.
And while I try not to hold this against her, the part of the fanbase that props her up by crapping on Celestia/Cadance doesn't help. Luna also does almost nothing useful, yet only those two are called out by for it by the fandom.
Sorry, no offense to her fans, just don't like her.

None taken, my friend. It took her some time to forgive herself for all the things she did as Nightmare Moon. Yes, she may have done some awful things because she was jealous of Celestia, but all of that's in the past and from the way I see it, she became better and happier as the show goes on (though there were few conflicts between her and Tia).
Her mannerisms and speech patterns are the effects of her being banished for 1000 years, so I can't blame her for that. It's what makes her special, though.
Your opinion is respected as always. Things like this has made the fandom divisive and there's nothing I can do about that. Anyway, I look forward to your other personal favourites per season.
Season 4- Think I agree here, honestly I don't think there's a single episode that hits 5 stars for me this season. Might be the most consistent quality-wise (even though I think Josh Haber is the show's worst writer) but few standouts.
Season 5- Obviously Amending Fences, contender for best episode in the series. But if I pretend that doesn't exist... Probably a severely unpopular opinion, but it might be Make New Friends But Keep Discord for sheer entertainment, which was zany fun with lots of great visuals and Maude laying the sass on Discord. Adore Tree Hugger too, and the Smooze! Plus it has that Rarity naked moment...

Season 6- Oh boy, this season, a contender for the weakest imo. Think I agree; fans as usual claim it's out of character because a character isn't consistent 100% of the time, but it makes perfect sense to me Twilight would forgive Trixie to let her save face but still dislike her. That's called nuance, people. I want the characters to remain flawed.
Season 7- OTOH, a contender for best season, despite some real duds. Perfect Pair is pretty good, but suffers for me because I've never been invested in Applejack or her family. + She's at the bottom with Rainbow Dash for me.) My pick is Uncommon Bond.
Season 8- Only halfway finished. I don't care about the student six so it suffers, but so far it's a toss-up between Horse Play and The Parent Map.
