Hope everyone is having a pleasant start to your weeks. Mine will begin later tonight. But for right now, I wanted to offer a brief update. Many of you may have seen my construction notice on my user page. Well, things are starting to shape up. The first thing I've added is a schedule for story updates and new project releases. Feel free to comment or PM with any questions. I just figured this new set up will give you all some idea of what's coming, but at the same time allow me to successfully meet deadlines and give you more frequent updates without overwhelming myself.
Above my schedule is a new section, still in the works, called "Jaydex's Shadow Facts". This will host various trivia relating to my stories, their creation, decisions I've made with them and even some trivia of my life as a brony. For instance such trivia like: how I first discovered this site, my thoughts on the show and why I chose to write about certain characters.
In addition to those two features, I'm updating my "Jaydex the Shadow Knight" section and now calling it "About Jaydex the Shadow Knight" and will be adding some of my accomplishments on here, and other social media outlets so following me elsewhere and keeping up to date with me will be nice and easy.
As of right now I have no idea when all these improvements to my user page will be completed. But I'm estimating by sometime in September. I plan to work on those and my stories little by little each day. As of last week I wrote over 3,500 words across a five day work week. I'm finding ways to make my free time between shifts work for me. My minimum goal is 100 words a day with a target of 500 words and an ambitious goal of 1,000 words a day (for days when my creativity is really firing).
I just want to thank all of you for your support, patience and for just being awesome! I know with the MLP: FIM series drawing to a close, many of your are worried about writers of G4 pony stories here on FimFiction. I can't speak for anyone else, but I am not going ANYWHERE! I'll be here. Even once new episodes of the series are done, there are still so many ponies to write about and so many untold tales of their lives and adventures. If you all will continue to stick with me, we'll make that journey and see just what those stories are...TOGETHER!!
