I told one of my new coworkers about my laptop, and she said that her husband is good with computers and she would ask him to take a look at it. Long story short, my hard drive was fine – it was actually the disc that had stopped working. All he had to do was replace the disc and reinstall Windows. It's good to know that every once in a while, things aren't as bad as they seem. Or, always get a second opinion – take your pick of friendship lessons.
So now I'm really trying to write more.
Why not just take both friendship lessons?
Looking forward to anything else upcoming! Don't feel rushed, though.

Hoorah!! I'm glad your data wasn't lost. Its best to take what you can get when it comes to lessons, friendship and otherwise.
And what do you mean disk? Like, the disk in the hard drive? Or is it solid state? Is it the main disk that runs the OS and not the one that stores your data?
I'm really happy your computer is fixed, I'm just confused on how it was broken.
