    Some major personal updates

I'll get right to the point: I got a new job! :pinkiehappy:

While I enjoyed my previous work, it was mostly thoughtless data entry and wasn't even close to full-time. I have clawed my way out of the welfare trap.

Progress Report #2, and a Question

Question first: Does anybody know what happened to Swift Blade Productions? I could've sworn when I trailed off that they were a rising audio reading channel. Now I can't even find them on YouTube. :rainbowderp:

    Merry Christmas and Happy Holliday

I wish there was more I could say that I haven't said fifty times previously. I miss this place and wish I could be back to work on here. I hope you're all well.

    Howdy, all!

I'm curious if anyone has plans for this Hallow's Eve. I don't have much worked out for it yet myself.

A Strange Idea · 6:16pm Jul 22nd, 2019

My cousin's wedding went well. Unfortunately, I did not get to dance very much during the reception because my neck hurt. However, it is feeling better, perhaps due to an idea I had.

You see, I accidentally left my favorite pillow of all time in my room at the university when I last moved out. I've been using a different pillow since then I don't care for. I decided one evening that I would try something different. I used a folded-up blanket as a pillow. I could fold it to my desired height and thickness, and it wouldn't squish down so easily as pillow stuffing when I sleep. And by Celestia, it worked! My neck is now fully mobile anew, and it just feels right to sleep again. :yay:

I also find myself in better spirits again, one week past that dreaded test sitting. Unfortunately, I've been having a hell of a time trying to reconnect with my friends who are still in town, but we'll see what happens.

Not sure if I might record this week or not. I'm tempted to start playing a new video game, although I'm not sure which. Dark Souls is tempting, but I'm not sure if I know what I'm in for...

*proceeds to immediately try it with own blanket*

I used a heavy comforter, folded up a few times. The thickness isn't uniform, but, if you have enough different blankets, you might be able to make it work to your liking like I did. I can't sleep on my back or my stomach for some reason, yet most pillows seem designed exactly for that. I've struggled for so long, but I realized that pillows might just not be the answer I sought.

Dark souls is quite difficult, though fun once you figure out what to do.

Glad your neck's doing better.
And about Dark Souls?
Be ready to die again, and again, and again.

:pinkiehappy: Fun?
Should I expect it to be as chewy as STALKER games.

Thank you. I can actually turn my head again.

:pinkiecrazy: I get knocked down, but I get up again!

Is it fair? Does patience pay this game?

Yes and no. I’ve only played Dark Souls III so I cant speak for the others, but I can say yes it takes a LOT of patience and trial and error to get past some areas and puzzles and can be frustrating sometimes. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s good.
