    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

Trapped in Middle America - TLA update · 10:36pm Jul 15th, 2019

TLA update at the end.

So as I was doing some traveling for a wedding, my car broke down. So I spent what remainder I had to fix it because, hey, a guy has to be able to drive the 6+ hours to get home somehow.

And then my tires blew. Multiple, in this case. Technically I GUESS it was only one, but by the time I got it to the tire place, the other one had about 10 minutes left on it. 'Cause it didn't survive being taken off the wheel. As it turns out living in the state with the worst roads bar none can take it's toll on my comparably new-ish tired. But as you might've noticed, my money was all spent on the first thing.

Well, as you can imagine I'm in a rock and a hard place, but I've scrambled together what I could and have made it home on a new set of 4 tires. Granted, I've found out that my brakes and rotors are next on the docket of 'Oh damn that's gonna go' but I'm straight up digressing at this point. During this rather bleak progression of car troubles, I should mention that I do not own a laptop, and in that vein, this unexpected downtime I had elsewhere did not do wonders for the progression of TLA. I did manage a laptop from a friend, but... let's just say that thing was the worst. I did what I could with the outline and what-all I could do with Gravekeeper. I was thankful, but eventually I had to put it on hold because - well, I had more important things to do.

But, I'm home now, and while I have my own wedding to look forward to, I still have time. TLA's updated chapters will be up Wednesday up to Chapter 14. Those are mostly hashed out and completed, but I want some time to rewrite scenes as they please me. There was definitely some lines and paragraphs that I wanted a chance to rework when editing for the story's sake. Chapters 15 and 16 should follow by Sunday or so. New Chapters will drop the 2nd Week of August, shortly after I return from my honeymoon. If I'm overly successful, it could be earlier, but with how the last weeks have gone... let's just keep to this new, updated schedule.

TL;DR Broke down away from home and without a solid ability to type out the story. New revised schedule:
July 17th: The Revised Appeal Chapters 1-14
July 21st: Chapter15. Chapter 16 may follow a day later, as I'm thinking of expanding the chapter and breaking it into 2, both to around 4K words each(Currently, Chapter 16 is almost 5K).
July 26th-August 10th: BLACKOUT DATES for wedding prep, actual wedding, honeymoon, and return and getting back to the swing of real life.
August 11th: TLA Chapter 17.
TLA will then update every Sunday until finished.

You're gettin' married? :O

I'm right in thinking there's two different weddings mentioned in this blog, yes? c.c

Yes. One wedding was for a dear friend. The other is mine.

5089310 Grats! So, living in the state with the worst roads bar none doesn't mean Illinois? (Kansas here isn't bad until you get into Kansas City areas where graft > asphalt)

5089318
Illinois is close, but no. I've spent enough time there that everyone I was traveling with had a hearty laugh and then a sobering reality when we cross into our state and realize the reality of our sad joke.

Who's it with? :O Anyone we know? I'm a sucker for fandom-derived relationships is all.

5089357
No no, you... proooobably would not know them. They spent zero time in pony related places and ducked out the same time I did, if not earlier. So unless you've got massive Sonic crossover interests, you'd likely not.
