I’ve got to say, FIMFiction is a damn impressive site. I’ve fiddled around with setting up LAMP stacks and deploying PHP web apps and all sorts of things, and a site like this? The back-end code is the heart and soul. And what does FIMFiction offer to authors? A WYSIWYG editor that lets you seamlessly save work straight to the database at the touch of a button, like draft-saving in a forum, a blog system, a customizable user profile with tiles you can shift around, user groups with their own forums, a robust tag and search system, auto-curation of stories based on heat and votes, and all sorts of things. This site is a damn genius piece of code. I think that’s something worth supporting.

... and I was getting hit on my phone by these goddamn redirect ads that were driving me up the wall. You know the ones. The really obscene scripted ones where you can’t use the back button to get back to the content you actually wanted to look at. Time to change ad providers, guys!
