My 1-year anniversary of being a brony...

...Was yesterday! I can’t even keep my interest uploading to be consistent!

Anyways, my 1-year brony anniversary was yesterday. I can’t believe it’s only been a year, I’ve found so many stories that I really enjoyed reading, Tangled Up in Blues, Pegasus Device, Fallout: Equestria, and the whole lot. I’ve found so many great musicians, and good people, but more so great friends.

But then there are those horrible bronies, but let’s focus on the good side of the fandom, I don’t think the bad side has the right to call themselves bronies.

Music:

The amount of skilled musicians I’ve found is insane! There’s replacer., the only person who has shoegaze I actually listen to. There’s The Living Tombstone, who reminded me the trainwrecks of a time signature can make good music (Run, Shoot, Kill, and Cry). There’s Forest Rain, who goes to cons and sings about how great it is to be different. There’s GLAZE, the only worthwhile dance music to listen to, most of the time. There’s SkyBolt, who’s Fallout: Equestria parodies are well-put together and thought out. Last, but not least, The Wasteland Wailers, the best Swing musicians that are still active today.

There’s tons more I haven’t mentioned, but they are all great, too.

Animators:

I can’t recall names, but I do want to say that the animations that I’ve seen are pretty astounding. A lot of people really know how to animate, something I can’t say I can do. There’s simple animations, there’s complex animations, but all of them are good. I’m sure we all know the Lullaby for a Princess Animation.

Fanfic writers:

Lastly, I’d like to say that the fanfiction writers can be good, most of them are good. I haven’t read any low like-dislike ratio stories, so I’ve mainly found good writers.

I’d like to say that I actually really like Aurora Dawn’s stories! Rainbow Factory is pretty good, and Pegasus Device is awesome! I also read that cancelled Mythbuckers story, that’s unfortunate, because that story was great.

Whatever he may say, Ashfur’s stories always give me a chuckle, he’s also one of the only big writers to have a story with 0 dislikes on it (last time I checked)! I love his comedic timing, and his random stories that are just a joy to read.

Finally, FabulousDivaRarity (whom I refer to as FDR) has some of the cutest stories I’ve ever read. She wrote some good Scootalove fanfic a while back, and now she’s writing more contemporary stories, a lot of what she gathered from her life. She writes some cute stories and I appreciate reading every one of them.

Anyways, I thank everyone (good) I’ve found in the brony community this year, and I hope next year will be just as good.
