I finally found a job! I am no longer in a poor situation as far as living conditions are concerned, but I lost a friend and owe said former friend quite a bit of money. As long as I can cover additional costs my grandparents are letting me stay here rent free and helping with college expenses. All in all I am not where I want to be, but I am in a good place.
Now that you are all caught up, time for apologies. I am sorry about not having another chapter out yet. I am sorry my contributions to other individuals on the site are not as much as I want to be able to do for them, but mostly I am sorry that I am not more active with any and everyone as a whole. I have a growing read it later list and several chapters to edit, add this to the unedited and partial chapters I have of my own story(s)... Yeesh. My readers deserve better, my collaborators deserve better, and I myself demand better.
So, first, I have been helping out a friend with edits but haven't touched that in a looking time. I probably won't get to that one as fast as I want, but I intend to make an effort.
Second, I have been helping Leeroy with upcoming edits to his story 'Crystal Apocalypse'. This story was recently reviewed by the Paul Asaran.... I hope I spelled that right, in his weekly batch of reviews. My name was tagged as co-writer, but at the time all I had contributed was a portion of the epilogue. Anyway, good on ya for catching Paul's attention. I plan to do a bit more with Leeroy, pending my work schedule.
Lastly. I want to put out another chapter of 'Adagio for a Sunset'. I have about seventy five percent of the current chapter written, assuming I can textualize the last scene and I can get a couple people to look it through I want to have it up in a couple weeks.
Now, I won't promise anything. That said I want to work harder, AfaS is in a good place and I can't wait to expand the story even more. I have left a pair of comments unanswered on the story for a while now, and I would like to address them here. Rainbow is as much a victim of peer pressure as everyone, and when going against the grain could cause a scene even brash people have trouble when they don't know where to stand. The other comment was on Sonata's characterization. For this one I would like to pose the question, why not ask me about the drastic change in the other character's personality? Aria while still rough is more of a hedgehog (looks all prickly, but is actually not so bad) and Adagio...
she might keep a few quirks, but the once HBIC is rather passive and apprehensive. My point is that, maybe losing their magic changed them, maybe Kaiba is only acting cringe because that is all he knows. I just compared the sirens to Seto Kaiba... Guess I should just cross over Yu-Gi-Oh! while I am at it.
Anyway, I'm up way to late. Good night!
As much as I want his next chapter out, take the time to fix what’s important to you first before what’s special to others
