    Executive decisions!

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten anyone! I don't think, anyway. Less pictures now that I have to use my phone for internet.

    Distractions

I finally found a job! I am no longer in a poor situation as far as living conditions are concerned, but I lost a friend and owe said former friend quite a bit of money. As long as I can cover additional costs my grandparents are letting me stay here rent free and helping with college expenses. All in all I am not where I want to be, but I am in a good place.

I'm sure you have all read this...

Sometimes everyone needs a little help, today I have contributed to Novel Idea. He and his family are on choppy waters and I believe that he deserves a bit of help. He made his own blog post over here. Though I only have a small circle of readers,

You know what I miss?

Taking a story idea and exploring it, seeing what comes to me and just where the characters go. I have a notebook of potentials for Adagio for a Sunset, but no idea how to get those ideas to progress. I am an untrained writer, a hobbiest at best and my story escaped the scope of my abilities. I want to revisit that particular story, hell I want to revisit several of my stories, almost all of which no one has been privy to since I never got them out of my head.

I sit here bracing myself for walking to work tomorrow, knowing I will have to also walk back. I have no car, I stay with friends, and I work part time. I have gone several places and experienced many things, but I had an idea come to me. It is a stolen idea if sorts as most ideas are, I prefer to label it as inspired. That just sounds nicer. So I welcome you to Sunset Shipped, I want it to be no more than 10 chapters and no more than twenty five thousand words. This being said I am exactly one paragraph in at the moment, and there is no telling just what the story could evolve into.

I probably wont sleep tonight and that is honestly okay as I am going to try and write for real for the first time in over a year.

Also, just a quick nod to a few things I have discovered recently.

On Spotify, The Call of the Void is a dark and creepy mystery audio drama. This was my first audio drama, discovered from a random post on reddit, I decided to give it a chance from episode one. It was dark spooky and left me just interested enough to keep wanting more.

Also available on Spotify, We're Alive. Another audio drama, again from a reddit post, this one follows three reserve soldiers and their band of survivors in the zombie apocalypse. Think The Walking Dead, but I personally enjoy this much more. The clash of lifestyles and the terrifying possibilities from the new world that our survivors are thrush into keep you on the edge of your seat at all times.

Finally, an author. Eric A. Asher. Author of the Steamborn series and the Vesik series, he brings a less macabre (I am aware that Vesik is a necromancer) style to the table after the ultra dramatic previous mentions. He still deals in drama, but has a very Butcheresque (referring to Jim Butcher who just launched a new book(go buy it)) element of comedy in his work.

Alright, back to tossing a coin between sleep and writing.
