Dear Journal,
Ember and I went back to the Hydra Marshes today. I thought the Marquis would like to see the fruits of his humor. He’s actually a fairly personable fellow when you get to know him! Even gave me a piece of his… skin to make a matching cape for Eidolon’s Ward! Not actually sure how that works, but I’m sure Mythic Honor can make it happen.
Anyways, the three of us had a nice chat. He inquired about the Dragon Lord and his health. Apparently Ember’s father was instrumental in saving the hydra from extinction many years ago by offering them amnesty in the Dragon Lands! The conversation eventually turned to my eventual rescue by Twilight and her friends. The Marquis asked me quite a favor! He wants me to take him to the Dragon Lands so he can be with his own kind. Really not an unreasonable request. The only problem is his size! I’m wondering how they got him in here in the first place, as he’s FAR larger than the Gates of Tartarus!
In any case, I’m looking forward to meeting Ember’s father one day! He sounds like a benevolent sort!
