Dear Journal,
Today I helped Applejack deliver a shipment to a place called Barnyard Bargains. It's your typical big box store like we have back home. We met the Assistant Manager, a mare named Ocean Breeze. She seemed really nice! Unlike her boss, Filthy Rich! Maybe he just rubbed me the wrong way, but I could tell immediately that he fancies himself more important that he really is!
The only good part about the trip was after we left, and Applejack explained to me what the "Writ Board" was all about. They're kinda like odd jobs that one can do for a few bits. Tomorrow I'll see about taking care of some of them! While I was a bit nervous about leaving my job at Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack convinced me that they could handle things without me! It kinda got me thinking about why I'm here. I mean... my role in this land! I've always wanted to help others in any way I can, but... up until now I've never really felt so needed! No one else seems to be taking care of these jobs, so... I guess I'll be the one!
Don't be afraid to step up and do something! Even if no one else is!
