Alright! I can assume from the title that this must be about the Student Six but with a focus on Yona, possibly.

Is this gonna be a shipfest? I’m not opposing that, mind you. Never figured out for sure if I truly shipped any of the Student Six with each other, kind of how I feel about the Mane Six mostly being platonic. I just like friendship more, not against shipping.

Huh. Didn’t expect Yona’s thoughts on this would go in that direction.

The trauma on Yona’s face. Despite her many brushes with death, I’m sure she still wouldn’t expect being the one run over by a pony.

Sad scene and all, but Yona produced rope out of nowhere and tying herself up this speedily had me laughing out loud and wonder how much time she has spent around Pinkie Pie those last few days.

Yeah, Sandbar, not even Yona is buying that.

Well, he got her on that one. Smooth, Sandbar XD For a pony often depicted as slow, he had that answer ready fast.

Ahaha, Rainbow hooking the trophy on Yona’s horn and Rarity picking it right off.

I find it a cheap solution of awarding the friendship award to the couple who ran off from the dance after creating a chaotic mess. Feels more like the award was meant as reward for their scene together ALONE and away from everyone else, which makes no sense in the spirit of the award being earned by the people at the dance. I get what they were trying to go for, it’s just a bit forced to ensure a happy ending.

Still, a very cute episode, not as much of a shipfest as I first thought, and Sandbar and Yona were just adorable together without going full on ship. But also making the blushes clear it is a ship, just without the usual drama on that kind of stuff as the focus was more on Yona’s attempts to fit in. Instead of focus on boy/girl = Love. I dig it.

Silly but cute episode. Something about Rarity’s song in this felt off to me and not going to be a song I return to like her past classics. I still liked the episode over all, although not my fave of this season. Some more focus on the Student Six with extra attention on specific members of the pack for more character development is very nice.
