Another (Minor) Delay · 6:37am May 8th, 2019
This week's been a bit more hectic for me, I've got some end of semester projects to work on with important deadlines coming up, actual work work, family events, graduation planning, potential move planning, and new job stuff that I need to keep an eye out for.
So to get right to the point: I'm a bit busier than usual, Departures chapter 13 is roughly half way done but I don't want to just rush it out to meet a self imposed deadline when I really don't need to stress about that. Right now I'm looking at either Sunday or Wednesday for the tentative release date, with chapter 14 likely facing a delay as well. Chapter 14's going to be a small stepping off point in the story, with a short hiatus planned after it so I can get a nice little backlog of chapters written out before the busy summer season begins for me. This was always part of the plan from the very beginning, but it likely won't be too long of a hiatus, a few weeks maximum. (But hey plans change am I right? I guess we'll have to wait and see together!)
I got hit with a spark of inspiration and decided to scrap my previous cover art plans in favor of a more stylized variant. (Rest in peace Version 1, 1.5, and 2 - which never had a chance to be showcased beyond it's concept art)
