Spec Ops: The Line - Story Explanation and Analysis · 1:14pm Apr 11th, 2019

"I just finished this game and I can definitely say it's going to be one that sticks with me. Looking back on it I can recognize so many things that it did that were so clever. It really feels like the game sets it up so you feel the same as Walker, that you DON'T have a choice, but in reality- you do. The most apparent one (for me) was that I shot the civilians without even CONSIDERING there was another way even though I could have fired warning shots. After finishing the game, I'm definitely partial to the belief that it's ALL in his head, he's trapped in this purgatory, forced through an endless loop until he can break the cycle by accepting what he's done. It's like Walker is in his own version of "Silent Hill". What an experience this game is. Anyway, just wanted to comment and say that I've been watching multiple videos on SpecOps, but this is my favorite one so far. Thanks for putting this together! Definitely subbing :)" from AlternateAurora
