...You ever have one of those stories where you just look at it and want to waltz right back out the door, or think: “Oh God what am I getting into?” Yep, we’ve all been there, right? ...Me more than a few times than I’d like to admit. But enough of my grousing. There ain’t rest for the wicked, IE reviewers so… That means I must review the stories ‘suggested’ to me. Thank you Seriff Pilcrow. Thank you. I’ll be sure to send something particularly unpleasant to you, like a boot to the head. Yeah, I think you know what I think of this story by now. The base premise.
Deep inside the jungle of a forest beyond Equestria's borders, archeologists discover an ancient tomb of a tribe that is said to have been around for two thousand years and then suddenly they all seemed to either die off or vanish without a trace.
Open hearing about the tribe Celestia and Luna decide that their older brother would be the best candidate to go and figure out the mysteries that surround the old stone pyramid and find out weather or not finding this pyramid was a good idea or a trap.
Yep, it’s like that.

Okay… Um… Yes, we have a self-insert. RRRRRRRAGGGGGEEEEEEE! And his gay husband, which… to be honest, is about his only character trait. Instead of his given name, Warlord -Dat edge!- I’ll call him Puppy. Because that’s about how dangerous he is and he basically follows our lead around like one. Make no mistakes about it, I’ve used self-inserts before, but I used them carefully. Hell, one time my self-insert was a leading villain! ...This self-insert is nothing to be invested in, and to be honest I don’t know why I would bother reading about him. ...Oh, did I forget to mention he’s an alicorn and the Two Sisters’ brother? Yep, it’s like that! ...Now, as for canon characters, Daring Do. ...She’s about one of the only saving graces of this story, as she is in character… To a point. She lacks that snarky wit I’ve associated with the characters, and she is competent but she only serves to rescue the lead. Who is an Alicorn. ...Shame. ...Guess about he’s effectual as his sisters.

Story: 2/10
...There isn’t much of a story really, it’s just about Nightfire getting his stupid ass captured by a cliche villain who… mummifies him and all that. And Daring has to rescue him.
