On Ruling Antarctica
As you all know, I am now the official Queen of Antarctica. And as I am in charge of the continent as well as the surrounding islands, I have put a lot of thought into how I shall rule things.
My militia is comprised of a few humans, Yetis, Aliens, drones, computer operated mech suits, and robots.
Cloudy Arrow is the head of my royal guard. My friend Liz is the head of the Royal Navy. She's also a part time pirate. But you didn't hear that from me. Enduring is the head royal prison guard. Magos Dominus Ender is our resident bolter and armor maker. Zen-Aku is the Grand General of my Army of Lunar Phantom/Spectre Lycanthropes.
The yetis and the aliens guard the continent more or less for free. I control the drones, computer operated mech suits, and robots from apps on my phone. This cuts military expenses significantly. I pay the human staff in revenue generated from our country's exports.
The research scientists pay a lot to have permits to research on the continent so that is one source of revenue. Another source of revenue is tourism. Many people visit to see the great ice border wall, which I've built around the perimeter of the continent with the help of my loyal subjects.
We export ice which is used to make various items including ice building blocks and is melted as a water source. We also have tons of natural resources that we export such as minerals, precious metals, precious stones and more.
Oh and the aliens just give us lots of money as they have evolved past the use for any currency in their society. So it all works out.
There of course is a rich culture and language of Antarctica which I created many years ago when I unofficially decided I was queen. But now that I am officially queen these shall all become standard and I will detail them in future posts.
How much to visit?
