Times are tough, and we all gotta do what we gotta do. I really love writing, and I neglect it far too often. But at the same time, I need to keep funding my way through the comings days and mapping out my future in little ways. So, to that end, I am opening a new system of incentive for what stories you wish to see: be it a commission of your own idea by me, or an update to a story of mine you're eager to see. Rest assured, as times now progress, I am planning to update a few times each month at my own pace and at my own design. I'm eager to get back into writing, of course.
However, I know there are stories people would rather see added onto more that I have neglected. So, I want to offer a small buy for anyone to toss a little bit to have me put whatever they story they want on my list of updates for the month. I still promise to update my stories and get out some new pieces I've come up with, but I still want to put in the option.
Starting at $10: 2,000 word story.
$15- 4,500 words.
$20- 7,500 words.
Extra: $5- NSFW (up for discussion)

I once got a commissioner who politely laughed when I offered similar prices for my very first commission offer. That commissioner said I was underselling myself, and that he'd thought a fic around 7k words would easily be somewhere between $70 to $90 piece.
As long as you are confident in your ability to craft a well-written story, I don't think it's unfair to charge more for your work. :) Of course, it's up to you, your free time, etc. Not sure how long you've been doing this, but thought I'd offer some input based on personal experience.
