I don’t know how many people are aware... · 11:23pm Feb 27th, 2019
It has come to my attention that there’s this Momo thing going around. From what I’ve heard, it convinces people to kill themselves, and pops up on random YouTube videos even when you’re not seeking it out.
Mind you, I haven’t seen it. I have just been told by others that it convinces you to kill yourself. Look, it might not even be my place to talk, I don’t know how persuasive it is, and even if it’s a suicide adress, I’ve heard from some friends on the Wings of Fire wikia that it’s a creepypasta instead.
To anyone who has noticed these things, and was persuaded by the Momo videos. I don’t know if you care about a small-time FiMFiction writer’s blog, and you likely don’t even know who I am.
To the few people who might come here, all I want to say: there are people who would miss you if you were gone. Having a relative who is actually struggling with incredibly low self-esteem, and having performed self-harm, I try to convice everyone they matter.
I’d suggest you think about your parents, despite what it may seem like, they love you. I may not be understanding the serious consequences of depression, but I’ve heard of people recover from it.
Do you think John Lennon thought he would change the face of music when he was a child? Did you think George Washington knew he would be the first president of the US? They probably didn’t.
All I want to tell you is everybody matters, even if you don’t have fame yet, suicide would still make your parents sad, and likely a few other relatives too.
I probably seem like some person who can’t talk about depression having no experience with it, but the only thing I want to do is help. Don’t let the Momo videos convince you to end your earthly life.

What did you find out?

Not really much, other than it was apparently a trend of some sort back in 2016.

Ok, must be late on the uptake then, but this Blog Post is still important.
I was today years old when I learned this entire thing was just a creepypasta I believed when my less internet-familiar parents mentioned it.
