Well as the post itself states, there was a lot of speculation.
The Best way to end the series is a 3 part finale with 1 final friendship lesson that should be the hardest one of all: Saying Goodbye. The Ponies should go their own separate ways, some staying in Ponyville, others leaving to pursue careers, but all having to come to terms with what it all means to them and to the others.
that would be the way to end the series and a way to make everyone cry at the end is with book that opened the first episode of the series closing
