Season 9--Final Fluttercord. · 4:40pm Feb 8th, 2019
Kurusagi here, with the supposed final season coming up, I've been hoping for at least one more fluttercord episode, with cute fluttercord moments spread throughout the rest of the season. That said, I hope you will indulge me as I share some ideas I want to see in S09.
--KISS: Discord has come a long way from S02, and while he may stumble, he and Fluttershy have formed the most adorable relationship. We've seen them have such cute hugs, but I want them to seal it with a kiss. I mean, Rarity kissed Spike on the cheek in S02, so why can't Fluttershy do the same thing for Discord?
--Zephyr and Discord: While we only saw him in one episode, Zephyr Breeze is certainly a hilarious narcissist. If he and Discord were to meet up, it'd be the clash of the egos. And which leads me to my next idea...
--Meet the Parents: Imagine Fluttershy decides to invite Discord to a family dinner, how would her parents react to someone like him, and how would Discord act around them? Delightful chaos is sure to ensue.
--Confession: While this might never happen, it would be nice for Discord (or even Fluttershy) to admit their feelings and say the words, "I love you."

Yeah, it would be adorably awkward. I'm sure Discord wouldn't go to the lengths of nearly fading, but I'm sure he'll try in his own way to make it work, while also probably butting heads with Zephyr.
I will take literally anything. ANYTHING with them together and interacting. One episode with them in the center.
You know what would be AWESOME though? And would actually be in the realm of possibility?
Discord and Fluttershy being called by the map to solve a Friendship problem. Not only would we get some fluttercord goodness there, but it could allow more development for Discord and actually, like, you know, NOT make it look like he's taking two steps backwards? *grumbles about the horrible writing and characterization in "A Matter of Principals"*
*slaps palms on table* IF THIS IS THE LAST SEASON THEN I SWEAR TO CELESTIA, THE WRITERS BETTER GET HIM RIGHT! DISCORD CAN BE HIMSELF AND REFORMED WITHOUT BEING A TOTAL JERK. HE IS FAR FROM A SAINT AND WE DON'T WANT HIM TO BE BUT HE IS REFORMED FOR A REASON. SHOW US WHY FLUTTERSHY VALUES HIM SO MUCH DARN IT!

I kinda thought about Discord being summoned by the map too. (Also, let's hope that there won't be a repeat of the dreaded "What about Discord" episode. Ugh! Also, if Fluttershy and Discord did go on some kind of mission together, I'm sure Discord would see it as a fun road trip, at the end of which they do cute couple things.

Yeah, I mean, the writers of the show sometimes come up with interesting character combos, and it would be funny to see Discord interact with Zephyr. It would also be funny if they tried to get along but failed miserably.
i must say these things will be very interesting!!!
and i'm thinking what will happen if someone or something want to break their relationship.Well, you see, fluttcord's relationship is in a stable state, maybe they need some exciting thing to make them come into deeper state! iI would like to see there are some new parts want to be friend with discord, maybe discord will finally find what different about love and friendship. I still think he has crush on fluttershy ~~~~
