Season 9 Theory: Is Grogar Discord's Father? · 11:17pm Apr 6th, 2019
Hey everyone, after watching the season 9 premiere and being introduced to Grogar, an interesting theory emerged. Is Grogar Discord's father? Let me explain my reasoning. In the show, Grogar was once the Emperor of Equestria, long ago when it was just a few pastures and farmlands. Not only that, but he is known as the Father of Monsters, and is said to have given life to the foulest of creatures, allowing them to run wild to do as they pleased. So it's plausible to say that Discord was one of his creations, as it would explain some of his selfish, impulsive behavior. Another reason for this theory is a few similarities between Discord in Grogar in terms of appearance. Both have yellowish red eyes, goatees, and similar "mane" styles.
Of course, this is only a theory, but it's worth looking to, and if it does end up being true, then think of what could happen if Discord had to face against his creator, or if Grogar had a means of controlling Discord as a kind of fail-safe, should the legion of doom prove inept.

I think it would be amazing if Grogar was Discord's father!!! I mean, I've been wanting to know Discord's past or family ever since he appeared in the show!!! And to turn out that Gragar, the final villain in MLP FIM is his dad, would be SOOO mindblowing!!! Sure, it's just a theory , but a pretty great one!!! I totally support this!!!

I know, I loved the cute Fluttercord moments! Especially when Discord call's Fluttershy his favorite, and when he touches her cheek. All I need is one more Fluttercord episode and some moments thrown in finale, and I will be content.

it felt like daughter of discord episode 8 after discord called fluttershy his favorite and sombra took action to be honest, definitely one or two more fluttercord episodes

Yeah, I want two more episodes, but we likely might only get one. Even so, I'm keeping an eye out for them.
I 100% agree, the very end of the episode made me realize the same thing...could they be related in some way? I think it would be so interesting! I really hope they take the opportunity and make it happen, it would amazing if they did, cause it would add so much to Discord's character!
