My TV Show Review on Home Improvement · 11:25pm Jan 30th, 2019

Hey, what’s up guys! A Man Undercover here once again.

Today, I’m gonna be reviewing “Home Improvement”.

In this series, we get to see the on-and-off screen lives of Tim "The Toolman" Taylor (played by Tim Allen), host of the home-improvement show "Tool Time," and his family, consisting of his wife, Jill Taylor (played by Patricia Richardson), and their three boys, Brad (played by Zachary Ty Bryan), Randy (played by Jonathan Taylor Thomas), and Mark (played by Taran Noah Smith), who are racing for adulthood.

The Taylor family often relies on next-door neighbor Wilson (played by the late Earl Hindman), who provides unconventional wisdom and perspective to the Taylors' personal and familial crises.

Along the way, we also get to see the on-and-off screen lives of Tim’s straight sidekick of “Tool Time”, Al Borland (played by Richard Karn).

Home Improvement is definitely an ultimate treasure to behold.

It launched the careers of several Hollywood stars, such as Tim Allen & Jonathan Taylor Thomas, to stardom. And best of all, it’s a show that does everything right.

The comedy that the film contains is superb! It’s not just because it’s funny, but, because they’re incorporated in a way that says, “All in good ole innocent fun is why I’m here”. A prime example comes from the slapstick used with Tim, because whenever Tim messes something up, even if it has something to do with the ego he has, the results of his mistakes literally give off the sense that it’s all naturally accidental rather than something the writers made to mean-spiritedly make him fall.

The stories and plot lines of every episode are also really fun, because every minute, you find yourself interested hook, line, & sinker. They don’t get too political or politically correct, and the writers and directors approach the topics in a way that doesn’t make you cringe. The best part is that they get better and better after each season.

The acting, characters, and character development in articulation is also really great! Every actor, even ones that are merely guest starring in the show, portray their characters as if they’re meant for their part!

The best part about the series is that the Taylor family and company, along with the situational comedy and everyday life the characters have, are ones that people everywhere, including you guys and me, can grow up with.

In the end, Home Improvement takes the gold medal for being one of the best comedies I’ve ever seen.

So, I rate Home Improvement a solid five out of five stars.

This sounds pretty good, for that kind of show. It doesn’t really sound like the kind of thing I’m usually interested in, but I might like it anyway. I’ll look into it eventually.

I love home improvements
